The S-Series, or 'Saber' is a sophisticated construction with the finest woods, which impresses with first-class playing comfort thanks to its manoeuvrable saber design. In addition, an HSH pickup setup by DiMarzio HSH promises flexible Rock - and Metal -sounds, which remain sharply defined even when drop-tuning is in vogue. Last but not least, the Ibanez Premium S1070PBZ is equipped with the proven Ibanez Edge-Zero II Double Locking Tremolo with stabilising ZPS3Fe Zero Point System and precise Gotoh MG-T Locking mechanics!
For the construction of the Ibanez Premium S1070PBZ, a selection of first-class woods is used. The mahogany body base has a four-piece top made of burl poplar, maple Panga Panga, and walnut, while the screwed neck is made of Panga Panga eleven pieces of maple, walnut, and Amaranth walnut. The streamlined S design with the " Wizard " neck profile creates optimal conditions for maneuverable handling so that between 24 stainless steel frets of the fingerboard Panga Panga d, every note can be heard as if from the hand.
The electrical sound conversion of the Ibanez Premium S1070PBZ-CLB Cerulean Blue Burst is carried out by an H DiMarzio SH pickup setup that promises a broad sound spectrum. DiMarzio The Tone Zone Humbucker, which is built into the bridge, delivers an extremely rich sound with a stable bass foundation and powerful mid-range, which is excellently suited to the band sound. In the middle position, the DiMarzio True Velvet Single Coil provides bell-bright sounds with a sweet overtone spectrum, while the DiMarzio Air Norton on the neck provides warm sounds. The pickups are controlled by a 5-way blade switch and general volume and tone controls.
Of course, the Ibanez Premium S1070PBZ is equipped with the proven Ibanez Edge-Zero II Double Locking Tremolo, which can take even the most unrestrained squeals and dive bombs without the electric guitar getting out of tune. The Ibanez ZPS3FE Zero Point System offers Tremolo a fixed resting point so that you can continue playing without detuning even if the string breaks. The headstock of the Ibanez S1070PBZ is also used for the precise Gotoh MG-T Locking Tuner.

I miss the early ones, I had the cosmic blue s-prestige a looong while back I would love it if they came back and had some Japanese ones again. I had to sell it to make ends meet and I still miss it to this day 😢

Got the Cerulian Blue one five years ago and its the most comfortable guitar I have ever played, and the most unique and untraditional looking. Amazing woods and finish.Similar feel to a Satriani model but same electronics set up as a Jem. A potent combo for sure.

I got the blue one too... is there any difference to this new one though? I see reviews l, but haven't heard anyone cite any difference.

The new Cerulian Blue is the same. There is just the brown one thats different in color only. That one used to have an ugly white frost edge on the body when the Cerulian Blue came out in 2017 so the brown one is more attractive now. The blue one with the flat finish is new but the neck does not have the exotic wood construction. Strange the neck has binding too.@@mattz9569

Dagan is playing the new brown version. Looks pretty good as the first incarnation six years ago had an ugly frosty white hue around the body edge. Luckily they got rid of that on the new brown one@@mattz9569
