Hope my younger audience listens to what I'm saying at the end of the video. Take your time, do a track day, work your way up the ladder, become a better rider, and most importantly be safe! Don't make stupid decisions, you have too much life ahead of you! Thank you guys for the support! Almost to 100K subs!!

Been riding 3 years, started on a 600. Took me a week to get on the highway starting with no experience. First time on the highway was just doing normal traffic had about 4 cars try to crash me so I waited until late night and went out riding and started teaching myself how to go faster and how to corner quickly about 3 months and then I went back into heavy traffic and able to maintain myself. Now it’s just game on when I ride! I use to have a headset but I don’t ride with music anymore cause I like to space the whole world out and just focus on my ride. It takes time you can’t just get a bike and go fast you have to respect it and take time to learn all of its characteristics. I couldn’t even tell you how many times I would get off at the same exits just to practice tight turns at speed

Are you an EMT? Isn't it very risky to move a person after possible spine injuries?
@willkiddhill
@willkiddhill 3 ай бұрын
@@xrgmer339 idk where these “don’t touch him” stuff come from in the accident world. But we’re taught to access the situation/injuries (regardless of the resources given)and move forward to action. If he had any spinal injury he would’ve been wayy more messed up and not moving. Adrenaline and shock is crazy but if your spine is injured you’ll know lol. And when I say regardless of resources I mean work with what you have. Zero resources on that highway once he crashed.. ambulance was 15 mins away. Can’t risk leaving him there untouched in the middle of the road with 20+ people around him with on coming traffic and hoping the ambulance will arrive faster. In a perfect world ambulance would be there instant and the keep him stabilized, take his vitals, put a cspine(neck collar) on him, baggage him up and send him to the hospital. But it’s not perfect world. Work with what you have. 🤟🏽

Honestly Will, all what you said in this video is exactly what i and every other person should get to hear. Yes like you said the kind of stuff you do over here ain't that much of a "good influence" to the younger generation...but you still went ahead and explained all what you had to do and all what it has to take to get to where you are in your ridin' journey...Practice, patience and respectin' the bike...These are the key things every single rider should always keep in mind. Ride safe out there bro. Peace✌🏾

yeah unknown is crazy asf. As much as I love watching you/mezz/CTG and a whole load of fast riders I still take it way slower than yall. I prefer it that way and I hope I never decide that sending it that hard is a good idea. The way I see it, there's always a little luck involved. The faster you go the more you stretch it. Doesnt matter how skilled or how well you can predict, there's still a little element of luck. I try to ride in a way that minimizes the amount of luck involved. Stay safe! I can't wait to meet you again this summer!

Good lesson man, I don't think people understand the enjoyment that you can get even riding a damn scooter at 25mph with the wind in your hair (or it would be if you weren't wearing a helmet). You don't need to do 200mph to enjoy yourself and do things you've never done before. That's why it's so easy to recommend starting off on a smaller bike, you still have PLENTY of power and speed to get yourself in trouble or get hurt, but it helps you to understand the dynamics of a bike and even more so, about how the traffic around you interacts with one. Just like Will said, you can be doing 10mph and if you panic jack your front brake accidentally and launch yourself, you can literally split your skull like a melon. That's why wearing full gear is so important, the simplest little fall or the tiniest slow-moving mistake can easily break your wrist or foot... and we've all seen what happens to your skin if you slide on the carpet, now imagine on asphalt. Sorry for the long-winded message, but I lost one of my best friends when I was younger to a dirtbike accident. He was easily the best rider out of all of us, just the slightest mistake on a trail he'd ridden a thousand times before and went straight into a tree without his helmet... because we "weren't riding hard" anymore, so why would he need his helmet when you look so much cooler without one? Just be safe out there, be smart, and look out for each other. And remember that 99% of the cars that pull out in front or almost merge into you, did it because they could not see you. Always be mindful and defensive, and try to be courteous to the other people you are sharing the road with. The #1 priority for everyone is going home at the end of the day.
