My facebook page on the Siksika Blackfoot
SiksikaBlackf...
This is a video response i made to my friend Walter who uploaded a very special drum song that was preformed by a Siksika Blackfoot young man especially for me, i was so overwhelmed by this and felt deeply honoured that someone would do such a thing for me, especially a Native American for whom i love all Native people's. the song you will find on my channel page or in one of my playlists called A Drum Song For Helen,or the link below, i made this video to thank the Siksika Blackfoot nation for honouring me and i in return honour them with this video straight from my heart and spirit.the music i chose as i feel it in my heart.all pictures are of Siksika Blackfoot nation

The Long Path..... ever still longer to trod. Travel in love and you shall reach that which can only be had by one who is able to Share the road . One path to perfection... many imperfect travelers. Seek harmony within this diversity ...not unity only within your own racial or national identity . We all one. Be one. Trod together not against. Road flow like a river...over, under or through any obstacle in its path. Man who walk the water path has no barrier or border. Be free . ....

@siksika she was 100% Cherokee and had a BLACK foot with a lightning bolt across the heel. That makes her a BLACK foot. I dont care what others may say. To me she was a BLACK FOOT CHEROKEE. Her skin was dark RED and beautiful long raven black hair down to her knees. I miss her so.Thanks for the info just the same.

Beautiful music and Real People. I am Bonded by Blood to Leon Rattler, Chief Of Chiefs to federated Blackfeet Nation Stateside. The Cheyenne adopted me into Crazy Dog Society. USMC call me a Mad Dog. Father was 1/2 blood Iroquois. My Birth Mother was 100% Jicarilla Nde. My past life of persecution, near-death 12 times by faulty thinking white Society, body mutilation, many disabilities, make me proud to say I Am Apache! Bonded by Blood to Blackfeet, Cheyenne, Cherokee, Iroquois, Oglala/ Lakota. Therefore, I am a mixed blood, Stateside. In Canada I would be called a Metiz. I have always fought to keep Our Country’s Free for everyone. No matter what their belief system. Maybe in 2019 I will return to Canada. There is much more freedom there. Thank you for making these videos. They make my heart sing.

Thank you for honoring my son, Jesse. He is very proud of his culture and what he does! I was very surprised he even sang a song for Walter as he does not like his picture taken. I am very proud of my son for doing this for you and am humbled that he would offer his music to someone! I am of Scottish decent myself so he has a little bit of me in him. My maiden name is Bruce and it was my grandparents that came from Scotland to Canada a very long time ago. Again thank you for this!

The idea of sharing of music, the sharing ideals. The capacity of which one uses the creative process to share is amazing. The purpose of the idea is extraordinary in every thoughtful moment. It can be as subtle as the words 'hello'. It can be as important as the word 'thank you' ultimately it connects all of use and diminishes the boundaries that were most probably never real to begin with. The sharing of music can contain the words of a thousand books, and millions of stories.
