I believe he didn’t know when he would would return because he was on earth and the father never reviled it to him. But yes no man nor angles knows when JESUS CHRIST would return. Not even the devil nor his fallen Angles know that’s why they can seem to guess by the signs the lord Jesus Christ said what would be the signs

@@elisabethbenjamin2203 when Jesus said only the father knew the day he was still a man and had not been recieved into heaven seated next to God as the rightful ruler because thru his death he had redeemed us. Now in heaven Jesus knows the day an the hour. He is our intercession in heaven when he walks out of the most holy place an probation has closed he indeed knows when the day is. I don't believe it's just Seventh day adventists will be the only ones it will be the entire planet that probation closes for sadly many adventists will also be lost when they have a clearer view of all that is to take place.

I actually have the same assessment based on the prophetic signs we are seeing now in relation to the 6000 years clock from the time of Adam’s fall to the return of Christ. The year that Jesus died in AD 31 , and from the year of his birth ( Galatians 4:4 ) is so crucial to this calculation.

*SDA* have their end times eschatology twisted up a good bit, and I don't say that to be disrespectful or demeaning, but look... The passage in *Matthew* isn't directed to the church 1st off. That dialogue BEGINS in *Matt **23:37* where Christ is speaking of the nation of Israel, i.e. the Jews... "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!" • The *JEWS* are the ones who killed the prophets • The *JEWS* are the ones who stoned those that were sent to them • The *JEWS* are the ones that Christ has longed to gather as a chicken gathers her chicks • The *JEWS* are the ones that refused Christ time & time again The "THIEF" imagery speaks of Christ's 2nd coming when found in *Matthew,* but s/thing altogether different in *Revelation.* It can't be speaking of the rapture of believers, for when a THIEF comes, it's a BAD thing, not s/thing to be looked forward to. And it's "bad news" for the UN-believers when He comes, for they're taken to JUDGMENT.
