I find my local bike shop is happy to give me used tires to finish burning up in my trainer. I have never bought a trainer tire. Just keep popping on free used ones that are not good for the road but can still be used on a trainer for a while.

Hi Michael, great video. Think I'll pick one up. One question, if Zwift adapts the resistance, I guess you still use your gears like you would on a road ride as it gets hilly etc? Currently I use a non-smart trainer and the gears are used to add resistance.

It’s a year later… how is the durability?

I already use a wahoo tickr, plus a speed & cadence sensor when I ride my bike. I also use my phone running the wahoo app to see all my cycling data during the ride. When connected to zwift on the kickr snap, would I still be using the wahoo app to see that stuff, or is there a seperate app that would give me that info. Primary reason I ask is because I've read how you use I believe the zwift app to communicate with other riders and set ride prefs and I guess adjust your ride on the fly? Just a little confused as to how I do all the things. Would a seperate smartphone or tablet be good to use so I can have my dedicated phone/bike computer as always displaying on my handlebar, but also have a separate mobile device that allows me to work zwift?

Would a carbon frame bike be safe to use on Wahoo Kickr Snap. I have a Giant DEFY ADVANCED PRO, full carbon bike.

Thinking of purchasing this or saving for a hub style. Good straight forward review!
