This is my first tour of a local train store, Northeast Trains. This store sells, buys and trades trains. It specializes in O Scale. They have an eBay store. They also will place special orders from all the big train manufacturers.
They are located at:

How fortunate you are to have such an old-school hobby shop so close by. Akron Ohio had a couple of these back in the day and I miss them badly. Congratulations to Northeast Trains for staying open. I could spend hours there, browsing every nook and cranny.

That looks like a fantastic old school shop to have right down the road. I may have to visit one day… certainly save up some cash beforehand though lol! Not a good place to walk into without some spending money! Great vid!

Yes. I also live fairly close to Charles Ro which is an awesome train store! If you’re not close to any train stores, than you can always rely on online orders.

Wonderful store, it’s great to see these old school shops that cater for everything both new and used, the internet has killed off most of these in the UK but there are a few left, never seen anything more American than driving five blocks 👍

Here in NJ we have The Hobby Shop in Matawan. The original owners retired and it's not the same. Bought a lot trains over the years and talked all time the owners. Miss them. Great memories!

I was just in there Wednesday and bought the MTH GP40 Boston a Maine. Don is awesome And a wealth of knowledge. And you're right, the downstairs layout is something special from coast to coast......literally!!! Great video.👍

I live in San Francisco...with not a single hobby store left! The last closing was "Franciscan Hobbies"....a 66 year old establishment, back in 2013. Three other businesses closed in the mid 1990's! A sad situation...glad for on-line shopping!

A very cool model shop! The atmosphere reminds me of a shop we use to have in Ohio called Smitty’s Hobbies.

Got you a winning combination, I knew this railroad man that owned a laundromat, now this is no jive, he was a mechanic on the railroad, worked on his own machines, and with the laundromat made a million bucks, I yea he collected lionel trains.

Thank you! I had a lot of area to cover and I didn’t want to make the video too long so I had to keep moving. Northeast Trains is mostly an O Gauge train store so there only so much HO scale stuff.

I would have to agree with you. I used to run G scale but I switched over to O scale and it has much better variety

I've enjoyed the video actually I found something on there that I'm going to buy. An O gauge track cleaning car.I am going to order two of them I was glad I looked at this video I've been trying to find something like that for quite a while.
