After the Phillips loss Kostya won like 12 straight and two straps at 140, the way the "expert" describes it here, you'd think Tszyu was basically finished after that loss .lmao

So true. What is he going on about? Has he got memory issues? Kostya, after the Phillips loss, went on to conquer his division. I"ve never liked Lampley. What does he do now besides give terrible interviews? Btw, as soon as he bagged Kostya, I stopped to write this comment. Did not listen to the rest. Outta here.

He actually says “I don’ even recall if he ever had another meaningful fight here in the United States after that”. Wtf? What are you on about Jim? The Zab Judah fight where he unified the division. The 2 Sharmba Mitchell fights? The Miguel Angel Gonzales fight? The Julio Cesar Chavez fight?

years ago Lampley was a guest host on the Jim Rome show. I called in, was on hold for an hour but finally got on the air. We had a discussion about Tszyu vs Judah prior to the fight happening. Well Jim thought Judah would win easily. I felt Tszyu would dominate. Who was right?

Zab Judah undisputed unification fight. Wining the WBC super lightweight title fight against Miguel Angel Gonzalez. The Julio Cesar Chavez fight. The 2 x Sharmba Mitchell fights. All were in the United States. Jim had a shocker with that statement.

That fight is the reason Americans refuse to acknowledge Tim Tszyu. Judah was their darling and Kostya faustigated him, the sins of the father are visited upon the son
