I’m back here at the end of 2023…I have to say Carrie is one of those rare humans you don’t have the chance to interact with often. It’s even worse to see them go because it’s likely you won’t come across a personality like them again. Best Tribute ever, not adding sadness into it's just pure joy of her legacy, I didnt cry in this tribute, I smiled. This video makes the quote "Dont cry because it's over, smile because it happened" come to life. Props to Disney for this amazing tribute.

Carrie Fisher was my life hero. Carrie Fisher had Bipolar Disorder, and so do I. But Carrie's life story and her book "Wishful Drinking" showed me the way to overcome, and flourish, just like she did all her life. I will always love Carrie Fisher 'til the end of time.

I'm not a fan of celebrities. I don't join fan clubs. I don't follow famous people on Twitter. I don't care what perfume they wear or what clothes they buy or what they think about politics or the environment..... but if I could meet just one famous person, I would love to sit and talk with Carrie Fisher for an afternoon. She's witty, funny, charming and so incredibly blunt and honest. I'm enchanted by her. Rest in peace.

I remember hearing the news. And being heartbroken. My dad showed me Star Wars, and I remembered her as Leia so well. Though I never fully understood the character, I always recognized Leia. And I knew she was iconic. Carrie, you carried symbolism as Leia. And I, say, thank you.
