Certainly before KZfaq, before the internet, and especially before Gavin Lambert's wonderful 1990 biography, trying to find information and fair assessment of Norma Shearer's talent was a frustrating exercise. Now, thanks to posters like monique and many others, the great books by Lambert and Mick LaSalle, and Turner Classic Movies, curiosity about this wonderful actress has been stirred and reborn after decades of neglect.

Thank you for the wonderful tribute to the wonderful Norma Shearer. :)
