Hi everyone,
today we want to bring you down memory lane, and do a storytime show and tell. We have brought out some of our old archives and will dive deep into our past as fashion designers.
Before we started our knitting design adventure, we had a long career in the fashion industry. We both have design backgrounds, and have had a very diverse career. As we have been doing our KZfaq channel for so many years, we wanted to reintroduce us and our previous design work. Maybe you will learn a bit more about that part of our life.

Good evening Arne and Carlos, It's so funny to look back on how things happened, the good, the great and maybe the not so great as well, but it all goes to write our story. I first seen you during the 90's when i was a newly made mum and seen you in a magazine. I was a newspaper and magazine merchandiser who stocked up all the newspaper shops,, so i used to pick some of the latest magazines to take out on my trips with me. My favourite thou was when you first started knitting everything from socks to jumpers, as you just seemed to knit from your head and worked it out as you went along. It was the first time that i had seen what looks like our fairisle knitting made into socks (i live in Scotland). I hope that you enjoyed going through the past as much as i did seeing some of the things that you had done, thank you both. I am so glad to see that your national museum has some of your wonderful pieces that your nation can share in seeing their beauty. Sending you crafty hugs from Norah, Glenochil, Central Scotland

Happy Sunday dear friends! What a treat to stroll down memory lane with you today! I think it is so nice that you have your tremendous journey so well documented. Thank you for sharing! I have been knitting for 55+ years and never once thought to take pictures of any of my items until about 10 years ago. I still forget sometimes before I give someone a completed project. I haven't been able to work on my knitting for the last month, but hope to get back to it soon. Moving on Tuesday and everything is packed up at the moment. Have a wonderful week! ❤🤗😘

It's so cool to see those old styles - very lovely and they appear to be well made from good fabrics - but I'd never expect you guys to cheap out on materials. What fun. I just found an old pic from when I was only 40 and was shocked by how much I've changed. But 30 years makes a diff for everyone. I'm so glad you have been recognized for your work - it's well deserved.

I love seeing some of the clothing you designed, but especially the pictures of you long ago. I have to say, like fine wines, you’ve improved with age! Been watching for years and have heard you talk of your beginnings, but was so nice today to actually see "the Dolly Parton dress and coat of many colors" inspired design. Also enjoyed the Japanese designs and Paris fashion show. The oversized pleated shirt/tunic with skinny pants is my absolute FAV! Particularly enjoy the Collections sketches and photos. Stunning.
