The Halloween pub was awesome!

Chips only scored a 5/10 but they were polished off - hmmm I think Jo need to rethink her scoring 😜at least the last 2 portions of chips got a more considered 6/10 👍🏻 I have to 100% agree with the CHIP LAW too 🍟😛 Test chips and drink booze vs climbing and canoeing - That's an easy winner for the chips and booze 😁

Now I have heard some excuses but hiding behind a pub to stay out of the wind ... come on! Oh wait perhaps I'll tell the tale of when me and two mates got blown into the pub by the wind. Even I can spot an oven chip a mile off even if they fry them. LOL a pub chip crawl :-) Thanks guys.

Looked like a fantastic weekend!! The van looks like it's perfect....and there's nowt like a pub crawl when the wind's up!! We also do the 'weather' test thing! Look at the weather....head where the sun's shining!.....although that did lead us to drive from Cornwall to Scotland in the space of a day last year!! 🤣🤣👍

I do like your new van 👍 Coniston is one of my favourite places too. Some good trips to be had in the mines there.

This video was funny 😂. You drove hundreds of miles from your home in cold weather to eat a meal that you could not see, drink and eat chips 👍😂. The lesson to learn here is that if one uses oven/frozen chips Jo can tell and will not score you highly 😂. You all had fun, l got many laughs, lt's all good 👍😂.

Poor Jo! Force feeding chips to her. We love Coniston, it's our favourite village and lake. We have spent hours paddling that one in the Canadian. Our second favourite lake is Ulswater. You can launch from a campsite there called Side Farm. Well worth a visit. Thanks for a chiptastic video.

We call those French Fries here in America. Chips are real thin and come in a bag, or I think you say sack. lol Louie intently watching sheep.

Great Video Dave, love the start too, I remember that old film. Bring back lots of memories this one for me. We stayed on Lake Coniston a couple of years ago for a week when I did the "End to End" chillswim, all 8km of it in 3 1/2 hours. Beautiful weather we had too. Did you take the new van over Wrynose and Hardknott passes? We had the 4x4 pick up back then and even that struggled to get over the hills :D Louie has definitely found his spot next to that window. Great that you can sit in bed and have such a nice view. I can see us putting in backdoor windows.

Another great vid guys. I only know one other person who is as keen on chips as Jo, Kirsty cant order a meal unless it has chips with it....or at least a side order of chips lol. Have you guys tried the little campsite by the river at Keld near tan hill? awesome little place but I wouldnt recommend it in summer months, Midges are worse than west coast of Scotland. BTW Van is coming on in leaps and bounds this week and though its not finished I am trying to persuade Kirsty to get a couple of nights out in it shortly so may be a slim chance of a Farndale trip yet, fingers crossed and funds allowing ;-)
