A trip to Wales July/August 2023

Күн бұрынBetween the 27th of July and 14th of August 2023 I had a holiday in Porthmadog, North Wales, I took quite a number of videos of the three railways there, the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways and the Welsh Highland Heritage Railway. These are the best of the videos combined into one long video to give a taste of what the railways in and around Porthmadog are like.

Just the opening with the narrow gauge lines running makes me want to watch this with the attention it deserves. I really love the trains of Wales. Ironically I'm crazy busy right this moment, so i'm going to finish what I need to get done, then enjoy this lovely video with a good glass of wine. Thanks for the upload, will undoubtedly enjoy it !

You cetainly chose a windy day(s) as you were getting battered about a lot.

Harbour station is a bit exposed so it does get blustery there, my main problem was that I couldn’t take my tripod so I wasn’t able to have a stable base for the camera.
