MasterChef Canada S03 E15 Full Episode: Mary and Jeremy competed in a three-course challenge in the finale to determine the winner. For appetizer, Mary made a golden beet borscht with horseradish goat cheese mousse, beet-cured trout, and caraway crumb, while Jeremy made bison tataki with uni cream, lotus chips, and tataki sauce. For entrée, Jeremy served a sushi boat consisting of a deconstructed spider roll with soft shell crab, marinated baby octopus with mushrooms, tuna crunch roll with wasabi mayo and crispy salmon skin, and ginger papaya salad, while Mary served a surf and turf with beef tenderloin, fried oysters, and arugula and sea asparagus pesto. For dessert, Jeremy made a milk tea panna cotta with coconut tapioca, fried plantains, and jackfruit ice cream, while Mary made a blueberry financier with brown butter crumb, kettle corn, blueberry sauce, and buttermilk corn ice cream. Jeremy really has absolutely nothing to be ashamed of here. His dishes were absolutely phenomenal and anyone who watched it knows it. He has grown amazingly over the course of these challenges. He's fiercely competitive, motivated, highly intelligent, and creative. I'm sure if I looked him up I'll find he's got a restaurant somewhere or he's cooking somewhere amazing. He's too motivated and disciplined to accept anything other than pursuing that dream of his. Mary's got amazing talent, but no one ought to be looking down on Jeremy after this one. Tons of respect for that guy. He easily could have won with 3 different chefs judging that's how close this was.

Both did an amazing job in this final showdown. But it’s just so hard to see one of them lose. Their stories and their motivations to be in the MasterChef kitchen just warmed my heart. With them making it to the finale, their both already winners in my book

I agree with Claudio, making 4 dish is kinda off, since they can't focus in all of it. But Jeremy really did an amazing job for it! Doing all of that detail in such a time is amazing!

No different from a tapas menu at a Spanish restaurant or anywhere where they do a 16-course tasting menu, isn't it? I understand that they had anticipated 1 entree, but I honestly don't see why these guys would not have been able to broaden their minds and accept the 4-plate sushi offering as a "tasting" entree. I mean, it's not terribly uncommon to order more than 1 roll at a sushi restaurant, let alone order a whole bunch of options and eat family style where everyone shares the options ordered.

Jeremy and Mary were truly amazing, humble, kind and generous people, Jeremy embraced his Filipino heritage and I love that being a fellow Filipino and seeing his take, Mary is a vegetarian but never let that slow her down, she cooked her food in a unique way that no other vegetarian has and really embraced her unique take on food especially that beet cured trout ant blueberry ketchup (I admit it sounds weird but a chef knows how to make a new dish with flavors they know)

True.. I didn't know Mary is a vegetarian after a couple episode and it was not like the other vegetarian contestant of Masterchef. Jeremy and Matthew are my favorite and the reason I was this season. Because they're Filipino like me.But for every episode, I watch and I learn why Mary won. And I'm very happy for them and this season.

What about I liked to Jeremy First he is proud to cooked a Filipino dishes, he is not afraid to show & taste the Filipino food with a twist & very creatives dishes as well. Second, he is a positive mind thinker & a friendly to others. Third, a very competitive persons. What I liked to Mary is she is obviously rattled on the kitchen but in the end she really did well & she's a positive person as well & very humbled.

Throughout all episodes there was mainly friendship and respect for each other. And that may have been because of Mary's personality. As a vegetarian she doesn't eat meat, but the love and care with which she prepared it was incredible. That's partly why she deservedly won. But what is so special is that she has won one of the most beautiful, pleasant series of Masterchef. A chef who makes a lot of noise and is very loud may seem fun, but competitions where each other is treated with respect are simply much more fun. And the nice thing is that the jury almost completely agreed and behaved accordingly. In short: a wonderful winner and series.

Out of all the MasterChef Canada finales..... This has to be the closest one. I don't feel like there was any bad blood between Jeremy and Mary. They both did a absolute great job.... But one had to win and the other had to lose. Probably came down to the smallest details.

This season was amazing with all the amazing cooks. All of them kept showing up new dishes. Marry was consistent, always suprised with new flavours. She established as a strong contender since the beginning. Jeremy was great competitor and he actually showed growth. Veronica was innovative but over-ambitious. That put her in trouble. Terry seemed unbeatable. But he was unlucky. One mistake, and he got out of the competition.

The entire season they were preparing us for Mary’s victory, so it was obvious to me from about the midway. Even though Jeremy served better in the finale, Mary was supposed to be the winner after two male victories in seasons 1 and 2.
