@FrigateChaserFishing something like that or maybe 2 to 4 hrs cap. But the ice stays insulated there and if it melts it will start aging once ice level goes down , and cap. Hello captain, I got one of those freezer 12v and they work awesome but to freezer water bottles it took alot of time , now for just cooling drinks it works awesome but to make ice you need a 120v compressor with lots of power to take that temperature dow to ice, thanks for the awesome suggestion cap.😉👍⚓️

The crooked pilot house on sale? No way, That boat is a legend already crooked and all , it was meant to fall in the right hands , it is an amazing story. Parker should be proud of this unique crooked design.

I have an ice maker and found if you prime the water bay with refrigerated water and a tray of ice, it makes ice much faster and less likely to melt right away in the ice basket. If anchored for the night, add part of freshly made pitcher of margaritas to water bay. lol

I live in NY on Long Island, plenty of pilot house boats out here, not one crooked one though. Two 25 footers single motor, 2nd station, one guy with the spot lock knows all his videos, etc. but not the one with the crooked dimension taking. But big on the spot lock - swears by it. Both are underpowered from day one, in my opinion. Not the crooked one with the F200.

@@OutOnTheReef I can only thank you, and no one makes videos like you. No one. I had to do the network cable re-terminations for the Garmin radar. No way w/o your video picked your same crimper. Good thing that Garmin kit is cheap since my fingers trying to line up 8 wires like that was ridiculous into that tiny connector.

hello cap and yes is been calculated but there only room in the pilothouse for probably 2 x100 watts and that would do nothing for my power use and remember i just don't use the ice machine , i run air conditioner, coffee machine , skillet and 2 on board changers 40 AMPS so solar will be impossible cap , my crooked pilothouse is like a small little house and no room for installing solar panels . but thanks for your great suggestion cap.

That's why u don't see solar panels on vehicles yet they don't generate or store enough power. It's also why the EV batteries are so dang heavy and bulky. I run solar on my Pilot House but just to keep the batteries topped off. Whoever figures out how to increase the power generated from the panels and how to lighten the batteries they'd be millionaires 😅!
