Percy Jackson, the lightening is the book that literally got into reading for fun. I picked it up randomly in my high school Library and read a few pages and I was hooked. I could never get past the prologue of any book but that book was just so funny to me, it literally changed my life. I think more than anything it gave me patience, to be able to stick to a book and have faith that it will get good. And that simple lesson has helped me find some of my favorite series. The Heir chronicles, mortal instruments, Rangers apprentice, game of thrones, etc.

Me too on the water bottle situation. My dad stopped buying them for me when I was ten. Just started letting me buy them again.

Mark of Athena and Battle of the Labyrinth are my favorites too! The PJO books actually got me into reading longer books when I was like in sixth grade and still learning English!

Percy and his hilarious sarcasm😂 I'm going to have to agree with you though, Battle of the Labyrinth is my favorite of the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series and Mark of Athena is my favorite from the Heros of Olympus. Battle of the Labyrinth is my favorite too! It's so cool! I love the maze too. As readers, we get to se Percy and Annabeth together quite a lot in this installment. So much action and I just love that one.

I have a weird habit of dropping all my water bottles and breaking them, ESPECIALLY when they are really expensive...so I feel you on this 😂

The Percy Jackson series is definitely one of my favorite series, and its mind blowing to think that it's been around for 10 years! I think my favorites are 1, 3, and 5. I'm actually thinking about rereading them this summer, but I'm not sure because there are so many other books that I really want to read for the first time XD (plus I've already read all of them multiple times) All the goodies are so cool! The sweatshirt looks ready awesome=D

I love the Percy Jackson series, Just wish it better adaptations, with Jake Cherry as Percy, Robert Capron as Grover, and Peyton List as Nancy.

I think my favourite one is the first one because that was the only one I read as a kid, all the rest of them I read early this year and my younger self's mind was blown by the first Percy Jackson book.

I've only read books 1-3 so far but out of those probably the 3rd one was my favourite (only just - I gave them all 4 stars) because of the quest the characters went on. I'm going to start Battle Of The Labyrinth today so I'm glad to hear it's good! :)

Guys. GUYS. GUYS! There is a Percy Jackson Summer Quest summer reading program at Books-a-Million! You have to print the form off the website and log four of seventy-five plus books on their approved list (including, of course, Percy Jackson books) and turn it in to one of the stores and you get a Camp Hal-Blood drawstring bag! It's really cool and it's big and it has the Camp Half-Blood theme and I love it and it's adorable and I am SOOOOOOOO using it for when I go to the library to pick up the stacks of books I put on hold! 😄

I remember loving The Mark of Athena because it was the 1st one with Annabeth's POV, but I also think it's awesome that all 7 get to narrate in House of Hades.

Percy Jackson came out the year I was born (down to the month), so obviously I haven’t been reading the series for that long, but it’s one of my favorite series of all time! My favorite book as of now is Titans Curse, but I’m WAY overdue for a reread, so that might change (although I highly doubt it).

My favorite book in the PJO/HoO series, I actually have one for each series. First, my favorite PJO book has to be... either The Sea Of Monsters, or Titans Curse. (To be honest it's probably Sea Of Monsters, because I just love Annabeth in that book. She just makes me crack up!) Now, my favorite HoO book has to go to House Of Hades! It's a really great book! (If haven't guessed already, I'm a fan of the ship Percabeth! Yeah, go figure, right?) Great video, Peruse Project! 😁

I bought that box set a few weeks ago!! (i've still only read the first one though whoops)

I love the entire series so it's extremely hard to choose just one or two of the books. From the first series, I love the 1st and 5th. But, I also love Mark of Athena and House of Hades. Aka all of them are perfect.

I haven't read the Heroes of Olympus series yet, but my favorite from the original PJ is the third book - I love Percy and Annabeth but for some strange reason, Percy and Zoe was my first ship :)

Battle of the laberynth is my fav book. And, of HoO I love Son of Neptune, and House of Hades.
