Fun fact, snakes can actually launch themselves twice their length. I only know because I went to a girls camp in the hill country in Texas where there were rattlesnakes and other snakes, and I learned how to treat each type of poisonous snake, all the different poisonous snakes in the state and what types are water, snakes and which ones are land and how to tell if they’re poisonous or not
