Into his house come two brothers, illegal immigrants, Marco and Rodolpho. Catherine falls in love with Rudolpho; and Eddie, tormented but unable to admit even to himself his quasi-incestuous love, reports the illegal immigrants to the authorities. Based of of Arthur Miller's play. Directed by Sidney Lumet. Starring: Raf Vallone, Maureen Stapleton, Carol Lawrence, Jean Sorel, Raymond Pellegrin, Morris Carnovsky, Harvey Lembeck, Mickey Knox, Vincent Gardenia, and Frank Campenella

I enjoy the scenes wtth Alfieri, the lawyer. The actor who played him did an excellent job.

That's Morris Carnovsky, a real acting guru. He was one of the founders of the Group Theatre (Strasberg, Adler, Kazan) but was blacklisted and stuck mostly to the theatre after that, since HUAC had basically ended his Hollywood career.
