In this video, Julie Scott, Grand Master of the Rosicrucian Order, AMORC and Director of the Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum in San Jose, California, presents a virtual tour of the museum. Explore the history of the museum, which was founded in 1927 by H. Spencer Lewis, the founder of AMORC, and today houses the largest collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts on display in Western North America. Also go behind the scenes to learn the secrets of some of the more intriguing artifacts, including those related to the Pharaoh Akhnaton and Akhetaton - the city he dedicated to his deity, the Aton.

I visited and I wish I had more time. What an incredible place. I was stuck by how materialistic the Egyptians were. Not much different then us. They really loved their stuff and they obviously took care of it .
