This is a taste test/review of the new Frosted A&W Root Beer Pop Tarts and the Frosted Orange Crush Pop Tarts. These are boxes of 12 pastries. Each one is 200 calories. They were $3.68 at Walmart.

Just watched your video and told my kids about these. They are super excited so im really hoping they are available at my walmart right now. Hopefully don't have to wait forever. Sometimes things take awhile to come to my area.

i am watching this 5 years late but I liked both these flavors, especially the Root Beer... with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. i wish they'd bring them back!

First of all.....Bless you, Kevin. These pop tarts look so yummy, but if we did try them, we would not eat them very often. Root Beer is one of our favorite soda flavors, so that might be the one we try.

Chips ahoy I think it was used to have root beer float cookies a couple years ago and they were delicious but I cant find them anymore. Maybe they discontinued them unfortunately.

I tried the crush one and I didn't like it. I'm not sure if it's because I felt like crap in the morning or not, but it didn't taste so good. I was scared to try the root beer one and I haven't opened the box yet. I'm gonna try it now that I've seen a review

hmm I was skeptical of these at first. I might try the A&W one since I love A&W root beer but I'll pass on the Crush. I bet the root beer pop tart would be good with ice cream!

I wonder if pop-tarts will ever make any exclusively savory tarts? I think they should at least explore that area. Like how there is toaster strudel (sweet) ad then toaster scramblers (savory) and both are really good!

The root beer ones are okay. They taste like those root beer BOTTLE CAPS candy. But a bit too sweet for me to buy again. I'll eat them, but I would prefer any flavor over the Crush flavor! I can't even drink milk with it! Lol.

My interest in Pop Tarts has waned over the years. The crust is too bland. Someone in an earlier comment said they like the brown sugar & cinnamon variety. I still like those.

Don't you just love that? They always put the limited edition flavors in the giant boxes, because they know you're only likely to buy it once. This was my thought when I saw Pink Lemonade flavor. I was slightly curious, but the box size, and the eventual realization that toasty hot lemonade sounds disgusting, made me pass.

Oh, they taste fake for sure - just as fake and full of chemicals as the drinks themselves. Even though we liked them, we have not bought them again.

Ugh I wished these were vegan, at least the orange crush ones. They need to make these without the icing. I don't want to eat the boiled down cartilage and tendons of pigs and cows. It's gross.
