Our last day visiting Yorkshire. This time we strayed into Cumbria to see the very pretty village of Kirkby Lonsdale and walked along the river Lune. Some beautiful scenery was enjoyed.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful walk Steve and, again we have not walked around there even though our eldest granddaughter's husband comes from there and they love visiting his family when they come over from France. You do know that Kirkby Lonsdale is in North Yorkshire after they changed the boundary a few years back. It is a very pretty village so you have been finding some beautiful walks and places up here. I think that living here we do not bother to go looking for what is on our doorstep as this is a village that we pass through many times ... shame on us! Hi Julie, We found out about this walk when my wife was talking to a guest at our niece's wedding the day before. She said that she had been told Kirkby Lonsdale was a good place to visit, and when we were there, we went to see Ruskin's view and stumbled across the walk when we went down the Radical steps.
