A walk around the Borders town of Peebles, Scotland

Join us on a walk around the lovely Borders town of Peebles in Scotland which straddles the River Tweed. We loved how many independent shops the town has. The beautiful war memorial was worth the visit alone. You’ll know by now that I love a cheeky charity shop - I bought some great books!
Before you ask, we never did find out why there’s a massive giraffe in someone’s back garden! Do let us know if you know anything about it!
As we were having our own Grand Day Out, we were not expecting a guest appearance from Susan Calman (who we love a bit too much!) Spoilers: It’s not really ‪@SusanCalmanOfficial‬ 😉

Sadly the GoPro didn't pick it up! I've had a good Google and can't find out anything about it. I fear we were hallucinating!

@grapesodatravels I live in Peebles and the Giraffe is just a cardboard cut out, there's also a cardboard cut out of a rhino down at the swimming pool. They're part of is part of the Floral Peebles’ ever-popular flash art project. Hope that brings some light into the subject. Glad you liked peebles. It's one of the most beautiful places I've ever lived. ❤
