The prettiest town in the Scottish Borders? We visit the market town of Peebles.

We head deep into the heart of the Scottish borders to visit the beautiful town of Peebles in its idyllic setting on the banks of the River Tweed. Churches, Castles and the remains of an industrial past are all on our agenda as we check out this special wee town.
We also stop by The Great Polish Map Of Scotland, which is an amazing thing, a scale map of Scotland made out of concrete which shows every mountain, glen and river.

3:36 Head with wings symbolises: "In the older cemeteries, tombstones have typically weathered badly and it's difficult to make out the inscriptions. However, the winged or flying skull is usually pretty easy to see. This signifies the fleetingness of life and the soul soaring into the afterlife. This is truly great to see. As I'm a Peebles born in America. I have a Peebles history book that was put together in the 1990s. Goes all the way back to 1110 AD... David Edward Peebles was the first to come to America in 1645... Our family spread quickly, mostly on the east coast though. I really want to come visit my Homeland one day. I knew it would be worth the wait! I think this might be my favorite episode yet; Peebles has truly moved into first place on my dream itinerary. I'm not sure why it draws me in so much, but I really want to visit. I would like to get a peek at Mabel's accommodations during your excursions. I'd love to see the kind of places you find. I love car/van/truck camping.
