Great video lm from Uppermill but now live in NZ, how l miss the place,

Thank you for this video I lived in uppermill all my life until I went into the RAF in 1954. And I went through uppermill on our canal boat through Standedge tunnel to Todmorden. Good memories thank you Bryan

Very good, mate. Most enjoyable, brought back a lot of memories for me and my wife (who is from Uppermill). My granddad was born in Dobcross in the 1880s and around 1902 the family saw the light and shifted 'oe'r brew' to Marsden. We live on the Gold Coast, Australia. Once again, thanks for the memories.

I just want to say thank you for sharing this video. I grew up in Dobcross but moved to Norway almost 5 years ago. I haven't managed to visit my family because of covid-19 but just watching your video, made me feel like I was walking through the streets I know so well, my hometown. A lot of memories ☺️ Hope you are keeping well during this time, stay safe!

Thanks for this video! I loved "walking" along with you. Especially interesting because I've just lately found out my 5th great-grandfather Benjamin Lawton was proprietor of the Swan Inn, 1746 to I think his death in 1796.
