Just finished the movie and as a 28 years old straight man I cried like a little kid, I can't believe that this movie is 15 years old already and I never heard of it.....SO UNDERRATED! I'm not really into romantic movies, but this one is so beautiful. To the people who made this movie: A movie so amazing like this one, deserves a better ending....

Okay, I'm a 6'2" 185lb straight 24 year old guy, and this movie wrecked me.. I didn't know exactly what it was when I started watching it, but I'm glad I did. I love how it has a good christian theme without being cheesy or negative about it. I only hope one day I would have a relationship like that.

I only noticed this years after I first read the book when I was like 12 but whenever someone says something pretending to be nice to make fun of her she actually knew that they were doing it she just chose to be nice and polite back

This is my absolute #1 most favorite movie ever. I have watched all of the Nicolas Sparks movies and none have even come close to this one. It makes me cry every single time. Landon's love for Jamie is just so pure, so genuine, so deep, so unconditional, and her love for him is the same. I believe this is what true love really looks like, being there for each no matter what, through everything. The most beautiful love story I have ever seen, and I do not think anything else will ever top it. ❤

This is still one of my favorite movies of all time! I just watched it again yesterday and, as always, I was bawling my eyes out! No matter how many times I watch it I still can't hold back the tears. Such a beautiful story and the cast couldn't be more perfect!

Just finished watching this masterpiece of true, genuine sweet love for the umpteenth time and I still get giddy and tear up just like I felt the first time I saw it in 2002. I have full faith that I will meet my Landon one day too. And I'm 55... I pray we all experience a love this pure and magical that it hurts... ❤

It really annoys me how so many critics called this "bland" and "uninspired" when it was one of the most beautiful movies I've seen in my life. I'm a guy, but I cried at the end, and it was one of the only movies to ever make me cry.

This movie portrays relationship goals . Unfortunately only a few of us will ever find somebody like that in our own lives. There are guys like landon and girls like jaime out there but try hitting that 1/100 chance to meet a person that connects with you in that deep level. In that perspective this movie actually is little depressing .

How could the critics say this was a terrible movie, this movie was amazing, such a beautiful love story, a real tearjerker. Mandy Moore and Shame West chemistry is impeccable.

Watched this film for the first time not long after my grandmother died, not realising what it was about, I hadn't read anything about the film (which was a first for me) and could not stop crying from the moment Jamie revealed what was happening to her. Such an amazing film. Later showed it to my students who were interested in Western films (I'm a foreign language teacher) where I made them watch the first ten minutes of the film, then write down what they thought the film was going to be about. They then had to compare their predictions to what happened at the end. Not one of them got it right. And every single one of them were in floods of tears at the end, but they all agreed it was one of the best, most powerful films they have ever seen. Since then we have gone on to watch other films by this director and we can all agree that they are powerful, deep meaning and can relate to everyone in one way or another, regardless of age, sex or nationality. This film is definitely in my top ten favourites. If you have not watched it, then do. But make sure you have a box of tissues on hand.

Just watched this movie again, still love it. This was first movie ever which made me cry for real, when i watched it first time when i was 10 or so. Now I am 22 years old man and I just couldn't hold back tears and bursted like a little girl... and couldn't stop.

This movie is so profound in a way that it made my uncertainty fade away. "Our love is like the wind, I can't see it, but I could feel it"-Landon. How I wish there will be another Landon left for me despite of my frailties. Finally, this is my most favorite movie ever because it made me cry and it is WORTH CRYING! And I encourage you guys to read the book, it will truly melt your heart and bring water in your eyes

This is one of my very few favorite love stories in movies. It’s at the top of that list. I know I’m a man, and I’m not supposed to show my feelings and cry, but I can not help myself. I cry every time I watch this movie. Something similar to this has probably happened at some point all over the world, and that’s what makes it such a beautiful story.

Just completed watching this masterpiece...almost after two decades of its release! Such pure souls are so rare in this world. World needs more of this kind of unconditional, genuine love 💕 There's a similar South Indian Telugu movie 'Oye'. Both of them have taken 2nd and 3rd place in my list of favourite movies.

A love to truly remember, which overcomes difficulties, sadness, illness and even death and I remember how this film marked a generation. The category of romantic films is not to my taste, but this film is remarkable.

I just can't believe that this movie is 16 years old already. Like, this was just so beautiful. I re-watched it now and heaven knows how much tears fell from my eyes and how the heaven threw a bucket full of water into my face. I'm a mess atm.

When I was reading the book it really make me feel like countless of emotions. It was painful and wonderful at the same time. I really love the part in the book about their play. Btw the play in the book is different and I can say that in the book is marvelous. The story is a masterpiece. It made me feel I'm in love and in a beautiful pain.

There is something about the trailers from the late 90s - early 00s which is missing in today's trailers. If you were growing up in that era, it gives you a feeling of belonging to those times in the sense that we used to behave and dress the same way in a more simple and innocent manner. Post 2005 kids may not be able to relate. Coming to the movie, I know a lot of people relate to The Notebook. Guess they haven't seen A Walk To Remember😉!

The moment when everyone was making fun of her edited pictures and she turned to run and Landon hugs her. that was a breathtaking moment , she felt so safe.

I am happy to know i am not the only one who cries watching this movie .i watch it so many times i know the lines by heart but it's too good i got addicted to it. To see what real love makes you do it's unreal. For Landon to marry Jamie who he knows has not long to live really shows that when you really love someone there is nothing you would not do for the one you love it takes someone really special who is only 18 yrs old to do what he does for his dying girlfriend. He also respects her until they are married which 18 yr old guy with hormones flying everywhere waits until they get married to sleep with his gir? No one does that but Landon does it he's one hell of a guy. And it must not be easy for him
