Danielle, I am 70 yrs old and just wanted to thanks for all your videos. I look forward to them everyday. You really inspire me to sew more. Definitely make me laugh. I know they are a lot of work, but just know we all really appreciate them.

Danielle I have been using the Smart and Cool reusable silicone magnetic cable ties purchased on Amazon. Not only are they great for holding your fabric out of the way but also for sticking your needle to. The magnets are very strong. Appreciate all your tutorials.

I love your demonstrations; they are so real with the mistakes. Maybe just leave those ribbons on the top and one side off until you need them.

I watch Needle Ninja too and I have not tried this because I am using the magnetic clamps that you showed but I may try this at some point. It is really pretty

I read instructions for my handi-clamps & the company suggested putting a piece of ribbon on in between the rod & clamp to make it easier to remove the clamp. I put a piece on each end of the clamp attached with a micro glue dot & they come off easily. This should work with q-snaps!

Love this idea. I always struggle with the excess on the left because that's where my lowery stand is attached. This will help that. Thanks for your demonstrations. I personally love them and they help save me trial and error time!

Very cute and creative! I have a couple projects on q snaps. I might take them off and try this bc there’s a whole hell of a lot of fabric for them!

Thank you so much for this I was struggling with my qsnap same size too I never got to use it properly cause the fabric is so much for the projects I'm working on ❤ I like to have room with out having to hold the fabric constantly.

Thank you Danielle what a great idea. I love when you show us things warts and all that you find. I would never have seen this idea as I do not watch that floss tube. I am a scroll frame girl but have recently got some Qsnaps for other projects and the excess fabric has been driving me nuts. Will be buying some ribbon to try this out.

I’ve been meaning to try this out for ages, I must remember to get some ribbon next time I’m at the craft store. I might try it on my hoop too.

That is a really great idea. I have a fat half for my fruit of plenty. I think I'll get some ribbon and do this. I remember how much trouble you had with all the extra fabric. I'm still waiting on my floss from 123 stitch. Can't wait to start it. Thank you

Great idea thanks for sharing. I'm so like you nothing ever goes as easy as when I see someone else do it. They make it look so easy. I bet it was very hard to get the clips off with the ribbon.

Thanks for this. I’m working on MFE2022SAL and pulled out the hair clip to use. Hated it. I like seeing you work thru the instructions because it helps me figure out the logic of the process. Great video! Thanks for sharing.

I love all your tutorials and videos. Thank you. I love how you take your time and explain everything. Danielle would you be able to do a tutorial on how to make your back look good. I’ve seen some of your back and they look so so good. I want to have a good feeling of the back looking close to what the front does. It’s only for my own feeling of accomplishment. Thank you.

I love the way the ribbons look but that seems like a lot of work when you have to move it. I also use the silicon magnetic cable ties and they are easy to pop on and off. You can put multiple together for a larger piece of fabric and they double as a needle minder!

Maybe if you placed the long end of the green ribbon facing in towards the center of the Q-Snap, then when you tie the ribbon, it will hold the fabric over the rail.

Thank you! I love this. I am new to using the Q-snaps and was just about to give up on them because of the excess material. This should help immensely. One question... How do you keep the Q-snaps tight? The clamps seem to twist with my fabric and loosen up the material.
@Stitcherista
@Stitcherista 2 жыл бұрын
You could run them through the dishwasher. That tends to tighten then up.

Quick question: how do you keep your fabric from fraying? Do you use masking tape around the edges or some other method? I have heard of serging or zig-zaging just curious if you have a different idea. TIA!#fightingthefray Love from Minneapolis!
