I love mine. I ordered it a couple years & it came in a beautiful wooden box that the top screwed on. I also put non-skid bumper pads on the bottom corners, much needed!

Love mine! In fact like it so much i ordered the M4 floor stand. Ordered that Mar 4, 2021. Hoping to get the shipping notice any day now. Paid in Sept. took mine to a retreat and it was awesome to sit and stitch. Enjoy yours.

Get you a lap table that says flat on your lap and use it on top of it... Might make a little more comfy for legs

I got mine October 2021 and I love it. I still end my threads on the back. If I'm using the 11 x 11, I just loosen the knob on the base, push it back a little, and rotate it around to reach the back. I then end my thread, flip it back around, and re-tighten the knob. With practice I've gotten quite fast at that. I do like your idea about the felt or silicone feet on the bottom. I'll have to try that out.

You can always stabilize it to a table with suction cups or Velcro!

I just got mine too...I got the green. I LOVE LOVE LOVE 💕 IT!! Worth every penny!! It took almost a year to get mine also!! I've used a hoop and Qsnaps...no problem!!!

I would glue one piece of felt to the bottom and cover the complete bottom. Some felt comes with one sticky side also.

Those silicone rubber feet would work amazing on the stand..... If you want even more comfort when working with it on your lap your angled lap desk might be comfy while using the stand!

It’s a very cool stand. I just tried the link and also googled it and couldn’t get in. I think you are lucky you got your stand when you did. With the threat of Russian invasion of Ukraine going on right now, I’m wondering if businesses are disrupted. Hopefully it’s just a temporary glitch.

Love it. What would be the difference between thus and the lowery table stand? Is it the angle?

The lowery table stand is a clamp. So it actually clamps to a table.

I love the new stand. I am wondering if you place the stand with the length across your lap if it would be more stable to lap stitch because the clamp can rotate and you can tighten it in any position...not sure if I am explaining myself correctly or not. I am researching a few stands and this one is on my list so I'm curious if it is stable to lap stitch.

I just tried it that way, and yes, you can rotate it better, but this stand is not meant to be a lap stand. It is meant to be a table stand. Someone else had suggested putting a lap desk on your lap and then the stand on that to give it stability.

@@Stitcherista Thanks for trying it…I understand it is meant to be a table stand but wanted to know if at times when I want to watch a bit of TV I can stitch with it on my lap…thanks for answering my question…it was very helpful

Glad to see the stand finally arrived. It looks like it will work out great. Too bad it takes so long to get one. I have my first retreat in April and was wondering about what to bring. Do people bring floor stands at all? I have a lowery stand and would like to bring it versus holding my qsnap all day.

Yes! People bring floor stands all the time. And a lowery has such a small footprint.

I love that stand. I did order one in September so it’ll be a while before I get mine but that’s ok. I wonder if they are affected by the possible invasion be Russia here pretty soon. They might have taken the website offline pending war with Russia. I’m glad you got yours before all of this mess over there. Thanks for sharing the unboxing 😁

It is just a scissor sheath that I put a needleminder magnet on the back.

Hi Danielle ,l have been waiting forever to get my Potoky stand ,what is the brand of your chair please ? I am an older lady with plenty of bone problems ,l just wonder if this chair would help me ,l am in terrible pain 24 hours a day .but l am in Australia.l hope you enjoy your new toy 😘

Oh I'm so excited. I ordered mine in June. If you are right and they are in Ukraine I suspect the cyber attacks and the brewing conflict with Russia is affecting everything and it may be a very very long time before I see it if ever. I'm sure they're done with war so I hope this settles down. It puts my problems into perspective that's for sure.
