I totally get you about getting over stimulated. Sometimes I just need me time and it feels so good to sit and read or listen to music and be with myself. Especially if I’ve been anxious. I really wish you the best and I can’t imagine how hard residency has been. But watching you work through it and admit that it’s ok to go talk to someone has been so helpful. ❤ I truly wish you all the best and I hope you get some nice quality time with loved ones for the holidays. 😊

Rachel- I saw your last video about feeling down about views and worries people don't like your content. Keep your spirits high! Your videos are great. I totally get the over sensory stimulation in the hospital. Most of the time I find it energizing, but sometimes it’s too much. I go outside to recharge sometimes too. It really helps.

And my family is in the medical field to. One of my sisters just started her residency and my other sister is in her last year of med school. She also wants to do OBGYM and she is in DO school

Growing up the blue rags were the only rags we had in the house. My mom was a cath lab nurse, so we always had them in stock😂 they are great for drying dishes, washing the car, and cleaning lol

Just wondering as a future (hopefully) doctor; how many times you do practice or assist with something before doing it on your own? Do you ever start doing things on your own in med school or does that mostly wait till residency? Such as delivering a baby naturally/through C section or placing an IUD like you said in this video for the first time

Hi doctor, I used to be an obgyn in my country but, I left the job in 2015 and moved to USA, here I should get the USMLE exams and after that if I am extremely lucky I will get the matching and start over with the residency! I am 47 years old now, with two kids, I don’t think I will ever be able to do that! I miss my job so badly though! Do you know any way to get a job in the obgyn field which is easier than the usual one? Please if you have any idea of how can I get back to my work field share it with me, I would really appreciate it!

Out of curiosity, why were the only IUD insertions you have performed been on women were put under? Is it since they were postpartum with a C section or just put under because of the pain? I have had one inserted while awake and thankfully didnt hurt! Although I wasnt given the option for numbing or being put to sleep...Im sure if I asked? Ive heard so many horror stories in terms of pain but Im glad mine went very well

Time is so valuable as you know, I hope you don't mind a reading recommendation of a truly amazing human being, sadly leaving this world way too soon...I promise you will love the book: Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson and Illus. with photos | Jan 1, 2011. Oh BTW its good to stop and smell the Hibiscus flowers (and have a Hibiscus tea too☺) every once in awhile...time goes so fast and you can never get it back. x
