Hi!! from Australia, I became unemployed last week due to being terminated for no reason. I'm 31 years old. I still haven't had a stable income and life at this age. Making successful life is so hard. I just found your video to make me feel like I'm not the only one who confronts a jobless situation.

30 unemployed two years that have been unproductive and a daily struggle. Strived for a long time to try get the loft I wanted only for a fixed term contract to end and back in family home feeling useless whilst siblings progress and start their own families The saving I slowly acquired from exhausting thankless work have gone in keeping me buoyant these last two years. The trips I aspired to take, the own home and being able to enjoy life a bit more than early 20s never materialised. Back to thinking and feeling and living the way I did at 18 except my worries then did come true, not naturally bright nor posses the high spirits to engage in life after 13 years of toil. Sometimes 'this too shall not pass'

Unemployed and honestly happier than when I was employed. Used to work as a nurse during the pandemic, it made me quit. Best decision I ever made. I'm just bing chilling, focusing on my health and claiming agency and ownership over my own, finite time alive on this Earth and I refuse to feel bad about it and won't.

I’ve been unemployed for one yr and half but started picking up and looking for a job. Finding your channel is one of the best things this year I must say. Thank you for sharing your notion content and daily life etc.

i moved back in with my parents during the pandemic (financially, it made the most sense for everyone) & i'm thankful i get to spend more time with them in my 30s. loved this vlog - can't wait for more!

I feel this. 3000 miles away from home now and I’m wondering now like damn I guess I’ll see my family a handful of times a year now, if that.

Wow I didn't think I'd ever find a video that hit so close to home (literally, also live in the sunset haha). Was looking for videos for how to cope with living without a job as I got laid off from a startup back in November. It's nice to see you living, and connecting with loved ones. I have definitely been taking notes and have been connecting with my support network. Trying not to stress too much existentially about my career and where I want to go (literally and figuratively) so this video makes me happy that others are doing positive things to ground themselves in this uncertain time. Love the content!

Girl. "Not deserving to socialize unless I reached some level of success" was gut punch home hitter for me. I'm 23 with a toddler and this has felt like my life story for the last couple years. Feeling so unaccomplished had really hindered me socially. I want to come out of it so bad.

One mindset shift I’ve had recently is recognizing that “success” for me involves having strong relationships in my life. If I reached a traditional economic form of success but had no one to share it with, that wouldn’t be success by my standards! I’d rather be “mediocre” and surrounded by people that love me. So now I’m starting to prioritize socializing more. 😉 hope things get better for you soon, you deserve it!

@@WesleyAnna same for me! I feel like I'm the only unemployed 29 year old woman to exist in my area. It can be sooo hard to justify and explain to people my age who are thriving. Pre-pandemic I was applying to medical school and 2 years later I'm just...stuck?

I have so much time in theory (although I apply for jobs around 6 hours a day) to use on leisure but I feel SO MUCH GUILT spending money when I'm not making any. Did you feel this way?

me too! i feel bad when i spend my money but i don't have any income.. i just feel i would waste my saving.. 😅 getting a job is really challenging nowadays

Yes same!! And it feels so weird to have so much leisure time and now im getting anxious for resting!! Thats just how toxic my previous workplace was
