It's so common for people our age to feel lonely. There's so much pressure to be talking to someone/hu/or dating, and its really hard when you're not interested in hook ups to go home at the end of the day alone, when you crave that deep emotional intimacy with someone. I completely related to your feelings of loneliness, and just know that it isn't just you who feels this way. You could have all of the friends in the world, and if they are spending time with their partners and you don't have that connection it can feel very lonely. I love your vlogs Emma, thanks for being so open with us :)

I loved how you talked about your mental health in this video. I think a lot of people online tend to forget that influencers and KZfaqrs are also humans as well, who also have emotions and go through shit to. Talking about mental health is so important and it can really help so many people especially those who might be feeling extremely lost and don’t know what to do anymore.

Hey girl I completely get how you’re feeling because I’ve been feeling the exact same way but it’s so hard to explain it sometimes. I go to school in alabama and I’m from Southern California and I miss home so much. I love my life here and I live alone too and absolutely love my alone time but I also have been feeling so lonely. I miss my family and friends at home, I miss the weather and the beach it’s really hard but it makes me feel better I’m not alone going through this and it’s normal to feel like this. You will get through it and I can tell your heart is really in california but you also love your life in Boston too. It’s tough right now but I think we will get through it. Love you girlie💗

I've been feeling the same way over my emotions and I honestly don't think it has anything to do with location. I feel whenever I move locations or things just start going different in my life, I get sad but usually I always get comfortable enough and I think that's what's happening with you.

I feel you 100%, I felt the same way when I lived in Cali and its been hard for me to get back to a routine that I lik.. Its normal and I am just holding on because I know its a matter or time til' I find new habits and routines that make me feel good.

A suggestion with the couch set up: Why dont you switch the lay out to and switch it so that the two corner pieces are up against the wall. Then the section that has no arm rests extends out? I think it'll look good!

It’s hard to leave your natural habitat, the beach. I’m on the same vibe with Malibu ; it just feels like home. I love the east coast but there’s nothing like cruising PCH with the top down ; it just feels effortless, like that’s what you/I were destined to do. It does get lonely but you that’s because you are one in a million. Go to LA for a bit and nourish your soul, come back happier, reenergized and eager for life again. 💙

I bet you're happier in LA because a lot more people there do what you do. Correct me if I'm wrong but your friends in Boston are the ones you grew up with and have "regular" jobs during the day, while your LA friends work similarly to you, so you can probably hang out more.

@@gia8365 in the nicest way, I see her have many tics in her videos. From the repetition of words, the shrieking to the point of not realizing how annoying it is, the clicking her tongue off the roof of her mouth, etc. May be all things she has dealt with her whole life and that’s ok!

I have the same platform for my bed. IKEA sells these “vessla” storage bins that fit PERFECTLY. . And then I also got a few of those long/flat rubber maid brad storage bins under there stacked up. I also have a king so I’m able to fit a lot. But they’ll fit under yours too!

Ive felt the exact same having grown up in nyc- i go through waves loving certain aspects/feeling good about my decision to stay in my home city but also longing to live elsewhere and think about how different my life would be. i feel like that will happen no matter where you are living, you have to remember happiness is a mindset not a place (easier said than done) but also it's easier to feel sad in the place youve spent the most time/are the most used to. but you're deff not alone in feeling like that and when youre in that phase it can be really hard to explain/see the positive

Hey Emma, you should definitely move back to California if that was where you were happiest. Life is too short to not be happy. You can easily visit family and friends in Boston during holidays or anytime you want! You're in a blessed position where you can hop on a plane and visit them at any time. Hope you move back there soon! :)

I feel you babe. But for me it’s the other way around i’m in a relationship but feel lonely idk what’s in the air but I’ve seen so many people feeling like this including myself. The air wrap worked amazing for me when I had extensions for curls and blow out. It stayed curled for 4+ days. Now that my extensions are out my curls still don’t hold at all lol

I feel like u should try rotating the coach so that the L part is longer closer to the island. I think there would be enough space between the stools and couch, the way u currently have it u can tell the long part thats covering the window has a end thats suppose to go against the wall. I’d highly HIGHLY recommend getting some crystal lamps for your place and would absolutely recommend them for anyone living alone for some of those feelings that may pop up. Definitely rose quartz, amethyst and clear quartz lamps are a must and bring such a higher vibration to any living space. That and a negative ion / grounding generator. BELIEVE ME, these are all incredible game changers in elevating the energy of your space and really helping your mood and overall feel. 🌹 💡 🧘🏼‍♀️ ☮️💟🙏👍🏼

Emma. I’m praying that you are uplifted and your mood improves. Sometime meditation and prayer can help. I have anxiety and therapy can help. There are times when just talking about our frustrations, fears, and uneasiness regarding where our life journey is at a certain points can help. Your therapist can also provide an alternative pov that can ease your anxiety too. If you already mediate, try the mindful app where there are guided exercises to help you relieve stress and re-focus on the present moment. Love your vlogs and Personality. Maybe uploading to discuss your feelings will help you also.

Random question: what happened to all the furniture from your old apartment? You had such beautiful pieces and decor but im confused to why you're buying everything all over again? If you're going to keep moving every few months I dont think you should buy that platform you talked about..
