Pop culture, mainstream media and beauty companies have developed this false and impossible notion of "anti-aging." For decades women have been encouraged to idealize and chase after youthfulness. Alternatively, aging can be understood and seen as a natural, beautiful process that we each get to go through. That's not to say we should've take care of our bodies - of course we should - but I invite anyone who reads this to really think about how we've been tricked into thinking that aging is something we should be against and something that's somehow possible to avoid. Nature, which we're part of, wouldn't have it any other way. ✨💚

I completely agree, but I do think that it's good to look after yourself and try to look your best whatever age you are

thank you! the concept "anti-aging" is so awful. I'm really working on being happy about aging gracefuly. Taking care of my self because I love myself, not bc I don't wanna age.

Totally agree. Also, think it's weird that sunscreen is not mentioned since it's actually the only product that protects your skin from getting damaged from the sun which in the end makes you develop fewer wrinkles, and helps you not to get skin cancer.

I love just straight jojoba oil for a total body moisturiser. I use it after every shower - face, eyes, full body - and it works a treat. I’ve always run dry, and this actually helps. You can also buy it in bulk, which saves money. It’s great for sensitive skin, and I’ve yet to hear of a jojoba allergy.

So happy for you that you have bike trails in your new home town and are supporting e bike industry, Hannah. I was born in 1961 and have commuted by bike since my first job in 1979 but didn’t were a helmet until 1991! Actually, almost no one did back then as they weren’t really a thing yet. But now I do … and the chin strap has to be tight if it is going to do any good in a crash. Hannah, please adjust the strap on your helmet. I love your style and your cinematography skills and ALL of your blogs inspire me in multiple ways. My favorites might be the goodbye to your CA bungalow tour and your “ why I do yoga “ from way back :)

It’s great that you are wearing a helmet (also great role model for everyone and your kiddo) and you look really cute but with a lose strap like that it won’t hold the helmet in place in case of a fall or and accident. I‘ve seen lots of head injuries in the Kids ER. Please be careful!
