When you died in UBRS, it wasn't because you pulled threat. It's because someone frost nova'd the pack while the tank wasn't in melee range with the mob. Whenever mobs are rooted they will attack the closest things to them regardless of threat, or if they have the highest threat of nearby targets. So while the tank had the highest threat technically, they could only hit you, so they all did at the same time. Boom

I like your pvp suggestions a lot. I do have one worry that comes to mind when talking about linking the ability to even combat someone in pvp to item level, and that is: switching gear on the fly. If you have a set macro'd, what's stopping you from running around in a lower item lv set until you're engaged with another player. (I know you can't equip armor in combat, but you can weapon swap.) And there will most likely be ways to bug this, like hitting vanish to "leave combat" but still having dots on the target so you're engaged; item swapping, then owning them. I agree completely with the sort of system you're aiming for; I would just make these points aware to the Devs as well.

Sword Spec only gives the extra 40% damage on the proc while you have a SINGLE two handed sword equipped. You could also pick up Rampage to make up the 5% crit you lost switching from Axe spec.

Having a dps spec that could have you rocking a full on different set for bosses and trash seems interesting. Maybe a little annoying, but kind of interesting that you can min/max the stuff to that level

The Altar Meta placement is great and everyone just does it Also; spend your marks in extract instead of legendary gambling

There’s an improved slice and dice RE that you can 3x stack and I think it’s like 10% extended length on it and it also is increases your attack speed by a few % each RE which I think is either 10% or 20% extra attack speed stacked on top from the RE bonus. I ran them with my compound power legendary and with 5 points you can get your slice and dice to like 50 seconds or something crazy long lol. Also, maybe adding lava lash, paired with that (searing?) totem random enchant that stacks up 5 timesultimately to a maximum buff where your next lava lash attack is increased by 200%. I wonder if that can fit somewhere letting it build Up during your main rotation. Or since you’re strength and crit based, as well as nature dmg based possibly something within the enhancement tree, or even the elemental tree, there’s a bunch of fire/nature synergy that contains a multitude of buffs and other talents/abilities and seeing as you’re nature based, I wonder if the earth shock, which I know people can stack super high % I think with their nature dmg (and any and all nature dmg they do) from any specialization. Also the flame tongue RE’s which that increase your attacks by 20%? When your weapon contains a flame tongue, frostbrand, or the other (nature based one)? Also, there’s the manaforged epic Random Enchants. Which u can stack 3 types, and they increase your dmg based on the type, and there is a nature based one too. Man. I fucking love theory crafting lol. There’s sooooooo much. And really, it’s the random enchants that even make it all possible. They need MORE epic/rare ones. Legendaries are great, but to flesh everything out you need rare/epic. Whew. Hopefully something I wrote was useful to someone. All on my iPhone. I’m done lol. Cheers y’all.

Maybe taking cleave off the macro and just using it when at high rage would solve rage issue

i've try to put the blade flurry RE and every haste boost possible with wind fury, so i'm a tornado, i proc a giant tornado, and i proc and an another tornado from the flurry xD. was shit but all this wind everywhere was fun. and take hasty storm strike not hasty WW ^^

the idea of making world pvp more balanced by restricting the ilvl scares me because one of the biggest joys of world pvp is also coming across someone vastly outgearing you but they happen to be low hp or caught in a vulnerable position where you suddenly cash out big and feel amazing :p I would definitely do with more 1v1 zones because i am a sad lonly dude with no friends and i like 1v1 pvp xD

What are hit caps for melee, dual wield, ranged, and spells, and what is expertise cap? Is it different for DW also?

I'm curious if putting in Rend and Taste of Blood with the Blades of Blood RE would be decent for Single Target. Charge -> Whirlwind -> Rend everything. Windstrike/Whirlwind on CD and fill in any of that with toB Overpowers. Would basically fill that empty space. Until Higher Crit anyway.

How about another game mode called “high risk single combat” where once you are tagged, it’s a 1v1 only and you are immune to other player damage for 5min. If this exists already then my bad, I just started playing but figured it would be cool.

Personally, the only way I would even consider throwing out 5,000 Ascension Points, if after unlocking a legendary you can enchant gear with it WITHOUT needing mystic orbs in the future. Some dogshit legos only cost 1-2g lmao

Still not seeing any Blades of Blood for m+ mega pulls. Charge on 18-15 sec can't be that bad with grip. Also flurry of steel? And hasty blade frurry. (charge blades of blood)ww- bladestorm -ww Ez 20k+ Grip will never be crazy good on st and alpha of the pack won't make your autohits suddenly be good. So best to focus on "overall data" performance since it all costs time. Speaking for m+ /pvp ofc
