At the decaying old barns on a windy day at the end of February. Skiing over the area, sketching with pen and paper, and making coffee on the Trangia triangle stove. Weather is mild and snow is dripping from the roofs. A nice and a really relaxing outing!

You don’t even have to watch the video. Just play the audio on your stereo. You can picture the video for yourself. Superb!

Thank you for another great "silent" movie. I am totally in love with the audio in this video. The wind and crispy sound from the match, the stove and the zipper in your jacket is awesome. And the fact that you don't need to say anything is very nice in a KZfaq world of abundance of irrelevant fast talk. Thanks!

I've been going through a tough time mentally with some stress and anxiety, waking up in the night and having trouble going back to sleep. But if I put on one of your videos, Erik, I can barely make it through one video without falling back asleep. Thank you for what you do.

I never get tired of you "Revisiting" these places Erik. With mother Nature one gets a different show every time. This time the audio track of the wind whisping through the trees is amazing and brings back my childhood days camping at Cape Cod MA. Listening to the wind whipping through the pine trees during breakfast at the camp. Great video Erik, Thank you.

A video explaining your ski gear (ski, binding, boot) would be very interesting. I am a cross-country ski instructor, I use Rottfella system for cross-country skiing (in Alp's valleys, Italy) but everything is lighter than yours. Your videos are a reference to dream of beautiful landscapes. Thank you!

You have excellent collection of these barns for a mini-film. They are really characteristic and do provide own story of that part of history. Wonderful filming and sound, what a great detail of water drops on sheet metal. That alone shows your eye and ear Erik for the playfield of the film setting. Greetings from Finland, Janne 👍👋

Thanks for a lovely reminder of a time, long ago, when a friend and I skied up near the Moffat Tunnel in Colorado and found some lunchtime shelter alongside (but not in) the ruins of an old pioneer cabin. Thumbs up!

Excellent light, Erik, when you were making coffee. You seem always to choose the right times of day. And you hide the microphone(s) well! I cannot ever discover where they are in your posts. Your eye for framing shots is enviable. That shot of the back window for instance, at ~ 1:13 timestamp was masterful. Spring is just around the corner now, hope you are looking forward to that!. Cheers

Hey this was amazing Erik! It looks like what happened to me happened to you as well which is you go to put the stove out with the damper and it somehow flips upside down onto the flame cooking the outside of the top of the damper. That happened to me on a dayhike on a brand new stove right out of the box🙄😁. Thank you again Erik. Take care. NQU

Next to the spider were springtails or snow fleas. We have many now in Northern Ontario. Be careful what's in the snow in that pot for water! 😁
