Congrats man, you deserve it. Also I fully agree with what you pointed out here that you're just a person - We all are. Even people who already work in the industry make mistakes or have false assumptions, no need to take anyone like the bible. That also applies to Kvin and such. It's important to look at the context and the reason why people say stuff they do, what is subjective, what is objective, etc. Using staff names in the same way like studio names for instance doesn't really improve the discourse in any way, and it's good to promote that people should think more about why stuff is that, or that, etc. Form your own opinion, use "experts" as a way to get information but be careful how you use the information and differentiate. In the end, everyone is biased but that's okay. I will admit every day that I am biased as fuck about ufotable and will defend almost anything they do to the death, but that's because I just fuckin love what they do. Having arguments about it helped me solidify why I love them, but also see some of their flaws, but that's okay. I'm not even deep into analyzing animation styles of different animators or such, but even that aside I learn new stuff every day. There is no limit to how much you can learn, really. Anyway, you're just a cool guy man. Wish you the best. I know you are swamped with video ideas already but I think more explanation vids regarding the pipeline and some aspects such as douga (bad/good douga) and such would be good to know for some people. You can also bring up older anime that way (e.g. Cardraptor Sakura) who have really good douga.

KVin is (was at least) very biased with some things (specially Mappa)
@678kaito11 ай бұрын
@@user-og6pb6dd5p there are some people in the sakuga community which are very negatively biased about MAPPA, yes (Kvin is not as vocal about it, though).

@@678kaito oh you don't Tell. It's absolutely horrendous how people have an agenda Against Mappa on Twitter. I actually argued with one of them😭. I Don't see kVin doing this nowdays (i don't much since i don't follow him). He was very biased. He made Mappa look so bad compared to other studios, and it's not like it's typical thing in the industry or much more worse in some other studios💀💀. And ignored all the good things Mappa has done. Most other studios are in much worse situation since they can't Grow and progress as a studio and invest in their projects and a lot of them need one step to get bankrupt. A lot of them can't or won't risk and expand their in-house departments and staff. Makes sense why Mappa have a lot of projects (like almost every studio) to manage their explosive growth (gaining almost 50 or so animators every year💀), expand their in-house departments. And putting a lot of money in their shows (for Quality) While not getting into a A-1 or cloverworks situation with this many high profile Shows is Crazy.
@678kaito11 ай бұрын
@@user-og6pb6dd5p it's good to shed some light on some issues in the industry, but I do agree that it's tiring that people make MAPPA the scapegoat. But I also am a bit annoyed that the studio seems to care more about its financials than making unique passion projects, but that's part of the business and I don't think MAPPA is a particularly bad company. But I'm not fond of them either. Although I have to admit, they get their shows done even under poor conditions, which I can't say about studios like SHAFT. Let's be real though, these whole studio wars in general are tiring and I don't really get simping for studios. I like the general philosophy of ufotable and their aesthetic, but what kind of philosophy people associate MAPPA with which they root for? A lot people still associate Park's JJK with MAPPA even though Park has already left to make his own studio, which shows the warped perception of studios in the general eye. I don't think engaging much in this discourse is any good, I just block people on twitter who are annoying about it. Unless you find Otsuka hot or something, then, yeah, totally valid to stan MAPPA. The CEO of all time indeed.

@@678kaito lmao i agree. I Don't know why i argued with someone and wasted my time. I do find otsuka's direction interesting. They need a lot of money for What they want to do (and even paying their staff alone with this raise requires a shit ton of money as well) that's it. Idk if they gonna make a Structure like Pro I.G or different from it. Pro I.G i think is one of The Most stable ones rn.

By the way, once again congrats for 6K and for 10k in advance because I know it's gonna happen in 1 or at max 1 and half week. ❤❤ By the way, that mankoman name part was hilarious😂😂 Because I know what manko means in Japanese. I am a new subscriber and really enjoying your content! You are opening up my eyes to things I have never even thought about and giving me a new appreciation to anime. I wanna add one thing though, it doesn't matter what you say, the bigger the audience, the more hate will be coming your way. It seems unavoidable. More of your content will be taken out of context and for some reason, even if you point out you are in no way an expert, some people will see you as an expert. It's like a responsiblity you have gotten even though you never signed up for it. Your content is sent out into the world. People will create opinions about that content and the creator of the content having little or no information about you. Keep the great work up!

You also criticise and don’t look over what’s happening in the anime industry which a lot of people don’t really do which is great too. Congrats on 6K subscribers MankoMan, it’s great seeing the community grow everyday. Always look forward to seeing your new videos

I respect your passion for analyzing animation a lot! I’ve been into sakuga for the past few years but I learned a lot watching your channel recently. I obviously knew that studios aren’t just entities that pump out anime like nothing, but I didn’t know how each production pipeline worked for different studios and why certain anime just aren’t possible at the moment due to the staff that aren’t available. I used to watch AnimeAjay a lot to learn more on this kinda stuff but he doesn’t make videos anymore, so I’m glad that more sakuga reviewers have started to express the thing they love on this platform each in their own way. Keep doing what you do man!

You've honestly become one of my favorite KZfaqrs in general, even outside of 'anitube'. As someone who really enjoys and hopes to someday be in the animation industry, you've provided a great space to learn more about and discuss animation. I already enjoy your in depth episode animation analyses (something I wish more people did more with more shows), but the community posts are also really nice for discussion about news and new episodes while waiting for videos. The MankoMan channel is just a great experience all around, and I hope that it continues to be as the community grows. Side note: I do hope that you eventually analyze an anime film (not a regular franchise film) one day so that people can have a better idea of how to use the term "" movie quality"" animation. I know the phrase isn't exactly efficient but bringing attention the difference between a TV franchise production schedule/process and an original 7 film schedule/process would be very useful for discussion. On another note, the only franchise films I can think of with the animation quality expected of a feature would be the ones by KyoAni; The Violet Evergarden movies and Liz and the Blue Bird. DBS Broly too, at least for it's action sakuga. Other side note: Ufotable's Gyo movie would be fun to dissect, not even for being impressive, but because it looks goofy asf and will remind people that the CG fish in Demon Slayer Season 3 ain't that bad lol
