Nishio is an amazing and kind person, i am sad some people just let out their anger on him for something he isnt even responsible for(the inbetween frame)... He really doesnt deserve any of this hate, and neither does the staff that worked on the invidual frames. Please consider that they would probably feel super hurt when they would hear about it. I don't know why people are keeping their opinions so highly, when in fact the information on the subject, but aswell the knowledge of what is going on behind the scenes, is barely surface level. They judge based on whatever they feel like and try to convince their audience that everything is justified and reasonable. A massive following can be very blinding when it comes down to *your opinion* because people will agree no matter what you say. We all act out of emotion and hold on to it at times... but we also should try to find time to selfreflect on our actions. Everyone in this industry is just another human, that does their best to contribute to a medium you enjoy. We are indeed entertainers and it is ok to critisize us for our jobs and even for our personality incase we do wrong... but please consider that it's also tough to deliver fantastic results due to the complicated circumstances that are happening constantly within those productions.. Let's all try to do better together so we can support and enjoy this medium. Animation is a beautiful thing so let's be grateful that we can experience and be guided through so many beautiful ideas and storys. Who knows, the artists you might have critisized in the past might draw your favorite sequence from another new show you love at some point. Please keep going with the content you enjoy mankoman. It's good that you speak out on this matter and educate your audience, but it might be better not to become too personal, even if this person might be indeed just disrespectful and ignorant.

Funny how categorising "Bleach fans" as fools is being generalized throughout the video. I am sure there are no condescending feelings out here. Bleach manga has one of the best character designs in battle shounen especially for a weekly series. Only Oh Great! and Sakamoto Shinichi can match Kubo in designs. Murata, Inoue, Miura don't publish weekly. Bleach is one of the most successful series of all time, having big influence over the new gen jump mangaka and even game designers. Do the Kaiju no. 8 designs look generic? In my opinion, yes. And even by objective standards, they are compared to the ones drawn by Kubo and other mangaka that I mentioned.

He probably just saw the frame somewhere online. That "bad" In-between frame is not supposed to be seen, it's animation, it's supposed to be viewed in motion. How many times does it needs to be said, don't pause animation (at least for making these irrelevant takes). While watching the episode I didn't notice anything bad about her, she looks really good even, if I may add. Also, this is kinda unrelated, but if Kaiju No. 8's anime looks like ass, then that's one really nice looking ass there. 😌

Saw the ordeal on twitter, didnt expect a MankoMan episode on it. Very off topic but I just wanna recommend you some Genshin and Honkai Star Rail teasers and story teasers cutscenes. Recently they released a trailer called Rondo Across Countless Kalpas which had a sequence which was clearly inspired from the Spencer Wan's cut from Castlevania which looked pretty interesting. Similar, Genshin's "A Song Burning in the Embers" and "Lost legacies in the Sand" are pretty good 2D animations. I feel they are good binge stuff. Similarly as you saw Evakoi's Abyss cut, I would really recommend their cuts on Genshin fanart streams (hoyofair) on kieru channel, especially the Abyss and the Cyno one

Hilarious video, Mother's Basement doesn't roast things this hard LMAO. Regarding KN8's CDs, I'm not the biggest fan TBH, but they're also not as horrendous (or even close to that) as some people make them out to be, and my only real problem with them is that they don't quite fit the series' style for me - NOT that they look inherently bad, as they just genuinely don't. As for all those people who used an in-between frame to critique said CDs… They made me feel like I've been transported in time back to when Naruto was airing and there were barely any people who understood that off-model art ≠ bad art, which was not a pleasant feeling to say the least.

What's super fucked up is that in insulting Nishio bleach fan is insulting Kishimoto, who personally requested Nishio to do the character designs for the anime adaption of Naruto 22 years ago. Which is also a thing, like, Nishio has been character adapting Kishimoto's art for 22 years, damn near half his life, which I can only imagine to be such an honor and privilege for him. I'm legit so happy that Nisho has gotten an opportunity to design characters outside of the Naruto franchise! He deserves the chance to stretch his wings after being apart of hand crafting such a legacy.
