I love it! What a wonderful broadcaster and human being. This made my day! Chicago Cubs and their radio broadcaster has literally been my main form of meditation since I was 5 years old! Thanks for the 40 years of great memories Cubbies and Pat!

Yes it is. Many hours were dedicated to Ron and his "love" (read hate) of Pat's sweater. It was great radio.

I love Pat so much. This shows off his sense of humor and sterling voice while parodying the way he describes things. What a great example of who he is as a broadcaster. He’s a hall of fame human being.

Too bad games were taken away from me as well as my 80+ year old father when you chose to go to cable. Not everyone can afford that. We have watched the Cubs since I was in high school. Now this has been taken from him in the last few years of his life. It's horrific how decades-long faithful fans were treated. No one cares.

Was I sad (and a little bit angry) when the WGN contact was allowed to expire, and the television broadcast moved to a premium cable channel I couldn't afford? Yes. But! After digging out my old shortwave and firing it up, I got over it so fast and never looked back. I would have missed out on the multitude of amazing calls, inside jokes, and just plain good ol' fashion baseball-on-AM-radio goodness Ron, Pat, Zack, and the entire broadcast crew work tirelessly to provide over 162 games. I would recommend to anyone, any day of the week, enjoying the AM radio broadcast treasures we have, instead of bitterly pining for overpriced cable television.

@@Alararar I get both Marquee and Pat, Ron and Zach. I mute the TV and listen to the boys on the radio. Baseball is meant for radio and there's nothing like the trio we have. We are truly spoiled.
