Dear Woodland Trust. Thank you for these awesome videos that show different periods of a tree's life during a year cycle. I wanted to ask, maybe you have a video or just a sequence of images of a tree during its entire life? (sprout, then 1 year old, 2 years old, 5, 10, 20 and so on). I searched all over the web and even asked botanisis, but couldn't come across anything solid.

I have heard that alder doesn’t rot when waterlogged, instead turning stronger and harder.

Do Alder trees continually lose leaves throughout the year in Australia? I have one next door to me and every day there are leaves on the my drive way but there are still a lot of leaves on the tree in winter.

It is a good fertilizer alnus compost.
