tbhc has been out for A YEAR! thank u to am for making such an iconic album !
I feel like this era flew by pretty fast, I still remember how i felt listening to the album for the first time. I remember how excited everyone was when am did a few shows just before they released tbhc and they debuted a couple of the songs live and we couldn't wait to hear the rest. I know arctic monkeys were criticized at first for how different the sound is but tbhc is a masterpiece, it's one of those albums that will be remembered forever.

I remember that I had a free period when I found out it was out. I was so exited that I borrowed some headphones from a friend just to listen to the 30 seconds that Spotify gives you for free (didn’t have Spotify at the time). When I came home I listened to it while packing for a trip I had that day, and my mind was blown. it was an amazing day.

Al and his ever changing hair styles, a little too wild 70’s look, shaved off, fluffy grow back, slick back throw back to AM era. Some banging tunes, outstanding gigs and a plethora of haircuts what an incredible year. Thank you Alex Turner .

On March they came to my country and in two different places, one closer to me than another... but at that time I hadn't payed attention to them, I wasn't a big fan. Only knew a few songs. Yeah after that I've spend my days listening to a lot of songs that I didn't knew. The more I listen to them the more I want to know about them (and now I do, I'm a little obsessed) GOD I wish I would've done this earlier. I guess I'll regret this forever (ALSO I wasn't even able to buy the tickets at the moment but oh well that's not the point I guess) because I know they won't be back in probably many years. 💔

It feels just like yesterday when I woke up at 5 am at a school night in order to be among the first who would listen to the album, due to timezones. So much stuff has happened in my personal life during that one year span that it feels like a whole adventure. It's amazing, really. Happy anniversary then, hopefully we won't have to wait too long for another AM album

i remember the release, i immediately connected to the aux cord in my dad's car and we listened to it for an entire car ride, i remember thinking? what is this sound?? why can't i understand anything?? i'm absolutely enchanted with it after revisiting the album. Monkeys never disappoint me!

And than I listened to it all summer long.. nothing says summer 2018 like this album for me. oof this makes me so nostalgic, so much has changed since then. I remember it so clearly. I waited until 12.30am GMT for it to come on spotify. Got two lines into star treatment and cried my fuckin eyes out like a baby with joy. A week later i got it on vynl. Then I literally had the album on repeat all year. What a masterpiece it really is

This is not an album which songs you can listen like “singles”. TBHC is about listening the hole 11 tracks at once cause the storytelling and scenario are perfectly fit for it. I think thats what make this album one of the greatest conceptual albums of the decade, probably yet not 100% recognized, but will see in some decades (when Musk reaches Mars tho)

Dios qué recuerdos. No olvidaré la emoción de esperar todo un día en el colegio y llegar corriendo a casa solo para escuchar el álbum. Lo mejor es que llegó exactamente una semana antes de mi cumpleaños como si fuese un regalo, y vaya regalo. Para mi su mejor álbum hasta la fecha, desde que salió no pasa ni una semana que no lo escuche :')

Woke up, got the spotify notification, gave it a listen...was underwelmed tbh.. After a couple of listens and going to their concert and watching them live play some of the songs, I just felt like it was growing on me with every listen.
