This is wonderful to see! I think the sign looks great, it's not too intrusive yet still shows everything needed to know. Helt perfekt!

You are a marvelous storyteller with such a soothing voice listening to. I could listen to you all day long - and frankly I nearly have. I’m not a biker. My body does not allow that. But you make me wish I could be. More importantly, though, is you make me even more proud of my country the way you present your experiences. I drove Sognefjellsveien by car a few weeks ago and we stopped at the top taking lots of pictures and many of them included the sign you put up. Nice job! It speaks a lot about you having the authorities listening to you and taking your advice. Keep up the good work you do! And lots of thanks for the videos you make.

Oh dear, I got so emotional watching your video! We cycled Sognefjellet on 13.06.22, so probably one of the last day before the new signs. We climbed from the Western side, with fully loaded touring bikes and terrific weather. It was not snowing but it was entirely foggy and all we could see was white, ground was white, sky was white, we could only follow the grey line of the road, it felt so much like we were not on Earth anymore but in some kind of extremely cold dream. We've been on the bikes for 2 years but this was definitely one of the hardest day ever. The toilets before the peak saved us to say the least. We didn't know what to expect on the road, so it was a great surprise to arrive at the ski resort and get something warm to drink. After that we rode past the peak, and yes, we were slightly disappointed that there was only a tiny tiny little sign in front of two bins... So putting up new signs is really on point, thank you for participating in that ! We cycled the whole length of Norway for more than 3 months and I wish Norway will soon recognize the potential of developping cycle touring and routes and invest in a nationwide plan. In some regions it is already the case and it was much nicer to cycle there. All the best for your channel and cycling in Norway, I am getting back to editing all the video footages from our trip !

We were on the Sognefjellet yesterday Matthew and we saw the 'moh' signs, every single one of them. They should be on every decent mountain pass. I somehow -weirdly- felt great for you and I event don't know at all. I told your story to my kids in the car as an example that little initiatives do make a difference as opposed to doing nothing and complaining. Well done Matthew 👏!!

Hurra Matthew!!! Great start!!! You are an inspiration for me. So last July 8 - 11 I managed to arrange a bike tour from Oslo to Voss via Rallarvegen/Flåm with a group of friends. Indeed the Norwegian landscape is so much beautiful and no words can explain even the photos can't justify how majestic and wonderful Norway is. There's a lot to improve in terms of cycling route to be more "cycling friendly (the Tunnel's most specially)." But all in all I appreciate how majority of the vehicle's respect us Cyclists on the road kuddos to all of you who patiently waits before overtaking us!!! So Matthew again thank you for your initiative and to the Norwegian government who listen and understand the situation's of a cyclists in Norway. Veldig Bra Matthew 👍✌️

The cyclist/hiker only camping sites look like a fantastic idea for areas that get too much use, several locations with a half dozen or so sites fairly close to each other that can be rotated would help relieve the stress on the forest fauna and soil. A simple shared shelter/table for cooking and a pit toilet, the shelter would also be an alternate place to spend some time waiting for the weather to improve/dry out besides cramped up in a tent and the pit would keep human bodily waste in one treatable spot. Even a small fee to cover firewood and lime for the pit I'm sure most would have no objection to. They could look at a similar system for cars (maybe a removable bridge over the roadside ditch to close areas to recover).

Like to thank you for your work in improving cycling in Norway. I just completed EuroVelo1 in Norway in early August and it was an amazing journey. Thanks for your help! I would like to make one recommendation to the Norwegian Visitor Board not only for cyclist, but for all visitors from outside Europe. .To obtain a pay as you go SIM card for data is next to impossible I stopped numerous places and No one had this type of sim card for data or you needed Norwegian identify card. I have been in every country in east and west Europe over the last 20 years and could always buy a local SIM card. Not in Norway. Many countries even have vending machines in the airport arrival halls where you can buy. If you can pass this recommendation on to the Norwegians it would appreciated. Respectfully requested, Tom USA

It makes me so happy to see you getting in the spirit and joining in on the "dugnad" of making these destinations more accessible and pleasant. You were already doing so much by showing all these places in an interesting and beautiful format online, but I'm glad you're taking a more active role. As you probably could tell, "complaints" and other feedback is much appreciated. There's a lot of will and resources to get these things done. I believe that through making these places as welcoming and pretty as they can be, the people who visit there will be more respectful and careful and even feel encouraged to participate by picking up trash and clearing paths and informing others. You should feel home there, because it belongs to everyone and should be treated that way.

As someone who lives and bikes in Norway, I’d LOVE to see the government establish independent bike paths like they have in Finland. I was amazed to see paved bike paths along the entire stretch of main highways in Finland. There is, however, quite a difference in terrain so the cost would be much higher. And I’m sure you’re well aware of the poor road maintenance in general in Norway. One can dream….
