I remember the day I first saw this film It was at an inner city cinema. It was an early evening screening, nearing the end of it's run I suppose... so not many others were there in attendance. The film credits drew to a close and though I didn't know it at the time I came out in a near daze.. out onto the city street but rather than that street being filled with people going about their evening errands or going to clubs or restaurants or heading home as I would've expected, the streets were largely empty. A strong cold wind blew and litter flew along the gutters and footpaths. Looking along that street towards where I'd parked, I saw large posters flapping like flags on posts. It was a scene that resembled the aftermath of a parade that had long passed by. The wind had clawed and shredded many of those posters and they'd come loose. Some took flight into the air drawing my eyes upwards to the darkened overcast skies above and high above in that grey void-like sky a police helicopter made it's way towards me and from that craft a searchlight beam cut through the gloom, sweeping the sides of the high buildings, probing into the shadows of alleys and lanes, into windows and down the street. Was this a dream? Was this a scene from the film I had just seen? As I walked by one of the posters I caught the words printed upon it in bold black lettering..:"The Future is Ours." The words hit me like a slap in the face... I walked a little further and saw another poster partially torn with a similar bold print but in crimson "There are Millions of us!"... I walked on, a second slap. The Helicopter made another slow pass, it's searchlight briefly turning the shadowy night into bright daylight...harsh and brilliant.. "Maybe It's time to go home." I thought.

I wouldn't go that far.... A4-B1 are kinda mid, and B3-B4 are like 4 stars. B2 is pretty goddamn good though, that one is an incredible single. but yeah, I'd place MTR or Underveil higher, this album as a whole be lacking cohesion.

I'd go that far. One of the most innovative albums of the 1980s, and the 1980s were one of the most innovative decades in music. Taken in its entirety, this is a haunting album.

Whaaaaaat? It's soundtrack and the director of the film was disgusted and there is not a single song in the film except Julio at the end only 1 minutes!
