Could these be rigged up with a balancer and BMS to be used for car audio?

Hello, just an FYI, A123 does not make round battery cells anymore. They stopped manufacturing them years ago.

Interesting

they were bought out by Lithium Werks. These power cells are still being made

where did you find those magnets in the hard drive? and they even take solder, nice.

I've had these for a long time, I soldered to the metal not the magnet itself.

so around 800 miliamperes means that cell is ok or not
@soldermecold74565 жыл бұрын
Jose Garcia well, the spec of the battery is 2200 to 2300 mah, so 800 mah basically means that cells is Seriously degraded... pretty much trash at this point.

So what should be the minimum capacity to consider the cell goo
@soldermecold74565 жыл бұрын
@@JoseGarcia-px9xj Well, I have some that are about 1450, which is 35% degraded and I am pretty disappointed in that. Problem is cycle life and saftey. I would like to have stuff that is no more than 10-20% capacity loss at most.
