To the three people who hit the dislike, I can only assume you were not wearing your glasses and clicked the wrong icon...LOL Scott, and your team at A2A, Accusim .... you have nailed another video. I'll rewatch this again soon as I do the my Fav, the Comanche which made an appearance. The narration, as ever, is just supreme. Congratulations. Wow!

As an A2A fan, I can hardly fly anything else in flight sim now. But, it is as a professional writer and author that I want to commend you on the narrative of this video. Nicely written. I enjoyed the descriptive use of the English language as much as I did the visual dynamics of the film. Kudos Sir!

Incredible stuff guys! That's one of the many things I love about your products. You don't just care about how the aircraft flies and responds, you care about WHY it responds that way and WHAT gives each plane its own unique feeling as well as gaining an appreciation for each design or iteration's own history over its development life cycle

A2A Accu-Sim it`s team and in particular Scott Gentile realy rock in sim world. I`m a sim pilot for more than 20 years (yeahp that old). I`ve flown almost every single sim since the beggining. I`ve flown and syill do from time to time with fs2004, thou nowadays i fly the wonderfull FSX. I`m a fan of Carenado, Aerosoft, Pmdg and quite a few more addon producers, but I must recognize A2A brought FS to a higher level. Thanks to Scott and his team. Keep on the outstanding work

Fantastic!! Incredible work on this one! I have all your add-ons and love every single one of them (including the warbirds and both COTS), but the Bonanza will have an exclusive hangar! It's my "crush" in aviation! ;) And the video is outstanding also, such an emotional plot.

Man, I pray that this airplane will come to MSFS. I fell in love with this airplane as a kid, there was one at our local GA airport, and we would drive by it almost daily. It was so beautiful, and I have dreamed of flying in one for 40 years. There is a Bonanza A35 "Realism" aircraft available for MSFS, but if it isn't the V35B I have no interest.

It's sad that we probably will never see A2A in XPlane, but I understand why. Over the years they've spent thousands of man hours learning how to fight against and work with the ESP engine to deliver a realistic simulation. Internally they've probably built up a massive, extremely complex tapestry of coding techniques that would have to be completely relearned for XPlane that would take thousands of more hours and would likely not deliver the preferred return on investment. This is because despite its recent growth XP remains smaller than FSX/P3D, and one of the reasons it's smaller is because there aren't any developers like A2A out there for it. It's a vicious cycle but it won't be broken until they either hire XP proficient programmers and spend time and money training them to work in A2A's ecosystem, or some super rich guy wants to bankroll an XPlane project by throwing hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars at them to justify them taking the time to learn the new sim on the side. It's unfortunate that I probably won't get to experience this plane, but to be honest I'd rather fly a mediocre plane in a great sim environment, than a phenomenal plane in a mediocre sim environment.
@boomerdiorama5 жыл бұрын
Lol. . .Lol. . . P3D4.3 still has better ATC (developing) and weather add-ons (Active Sky) than X plane can boast. Clearly the (third party) flight models available are better as well. Not to mention ORBX and Ultimate Global Mesh, etc, etc. Furthermore, "X-Plane is not suitable for what they are working to accomplish. It doesn't meet their needs, and is a more inclusive platform.""It's still [P3D] the most powerful platform on the market, as see by what we can do with the platform."---A2A.
@boomerdiorama5 жыл бұрын
Yeah. I don`t mean to criticize X plane because for many it is a great flight sim. I tried it several times and I couldn`t get into it. I just built a new rig (8700K/1080ti) and purchased P3Dv4. I have no regrets. P3Dv4 is so far from FSX that it is a completely new 64 bit sim. Plus it has great support now with "military contractors" and computer engineers. Furthermore, it will only continue to get better.

Really looking forward to this. The V tail has the nickname 'Doctor killer' as those that could afford one thought they handled the same as an everyday Piper or Cessna and got themselves in trouble. The problems were more pilot error than airframe problems with the exception of the shorter wings which made the aircraft less stable in roll. With the responsiveness of the controls pilots could unwittingly put themselves in a spiral spin and unlike other aircraft that will try and get themselves back to straight and level the pilot had to do all the work. This usually resulted in overcorrecting leading to structural failure. I've been lucky enough to fly C172, PA-28 and the V-35B, the first two are easy to fly 'trim em and leave em'. With the V tail you have to be on the ball all the time unless you have the AP engaged. Credit card at the ready...
@ShockwaveProd5 жыл бұрын
The big takeaway from our flight testing of the V-tail is it needs to be approached and flown just like a Warbird. The Comanche's stall is so benign by comparison. If you stall a Bonanza in the pattern, you are in trouble. And the difference in yaw (and to some extend also pitch) is also significant. Many people get sick in the back seat of the V-tail due to the constant oscillations of the nose, especially in turbulence. If you notice in the video, there is constant movement of the nose. This is what it's like and it always makes for a lively flight. It you just replace the V-tail with a traditional tail (like the Debonair), everything goes out the window and it flies like a Comanche :) This was just a great learning experience putting this V-tail through all of our flight testing an analysis.

My boss owns a Bonanza V tail, that thing can get quite scary in turbulence as it likes to oscillate side to side like you said in your comparison.

Now that`s what I call a realistic simulation of analogue gauges, engine wearing and other stuff! A2A always had the best planes to take care of and almost being "alive" - and not just a dead sterile simulation always and under every condition working in 100% brandnew simulated factory conditions without any wearing and degrading and weathering and failures..... This one is even more uniquè than the Cessna 337 Skymaster.

Saw a v tail on my way out of Addison one time . Good looking plane IRL but the pilot was a jerk for doing his run up near a construction area at the port ( KADS) he was blowing sand and debris all over and dusted a few workers off. Steam gauges are best to learn on , but if you plan to transition from sim to real flying , I’d invest in a POH.
