Live plane spotting from Manchester, UK. Live streaming from the Runway Visitor Park, Manchester Airport. Currently using dual runway ops at MAN, catching landings and take offs on two separate runways. The second busiest of the airports in the UK behind London Heathrow (LHR). We livestream the aviation live action multiple times a week, our usual schedule is:

The partial spooling up of the engines are to stabilize the rotation of the engines at 50% N1 for about 3 seconds before pushing for takeoff thrust settings.

@@theog700 I mean the “typical” procedure is 50% N1, there is no recommendation that stands as a concrete rule of any % you need, you can even stabilize at 25% N1 if you feel like it. I stabilise anywhere between 30-50 depends if it’s a rolling take off or not, also runway length is a consideration.

It’s surprising coz when I was sitting inside the plan I didn’t hear the sound that loud. That shows how well this plane is made from outside and inside. First time i sat in a plane is 2010 and those planes were scary back then when they take off and when they land too much shaking then last time I sat in this plane and it was super quiet you could barely feel the take off crazy smooth.
