Real nice bro, they are both equally great trucks, our 979B does have the edge because of the extra power.. Too much power really for such a small wheelbase lol.. Awesome fun

You should do a tug of war! That’ll show the difference in power of the 2 really nicely!! Also undo the cover please? So we can the insides of both and evaluate the differences of the motor! Otherwise great video!

Hallo MadKai TV. Ich bin auch deutscher. Ich habe zwei bestellt. Solange ich einen benutzt habe hat alles funktioniert. Sobald ich den zweiten mit einem Freund fahren wollte funktionieren beide nicht mehr. Ich weiß nicht wie man die Frequenz umstellen kann. Löten oder Tuning durch Ersatzteile wäre kein Problem. Es kann mir niemand weiterhelfen :(

@@e.s.9925 Grüße Dich :-) Das ist sehr seltsam.. Eigentlich ist es ja so, das Du im 2,4ghz Band unzählige "Kanäle" hast, die Du nicht selbst beeinflussen kannst. Deshalb werden ja Fahrzeug und Sender miteinander gebunden und funktionieren nur mit dem gebundenen. Was passiert denn, wenn Du den Sender von Auto A anschaltest und Auto B ? Lässt sich da was steuern oder eine Funktion feststellen ?

I have the Traxxas X-maxx and I love my 979 just as much amazing little cars so many upgrade part's and alot of fun 10/10 for WL toys.

@@torontorc4637 if you realy want the best upgrade - get CST 900 oil for the shocks and fill them as much as you can makes a massive difference and dirt cheap for the wl's. Remove the black spacers on the shocks if you use oil.

Its basically the same thing but the a979s battery lasts a longer time

the battery isn't better its because the a979 is slower so harder to run battery out

Does your 979-B pull right on the throttle? I'm trimmed straight when coasting but pulls noticeably right on the power. I couldn't tell in the video but it looked like your 979 took off straight as an arrow and the B looked like it might have been pulling right as well.

They both can work at the same time. Just turn one car and one remote on at a time and they will both work separately

3 years on, do you have any problems with the cars? I heard the ESC is easily broken because of the heat caused by overthrottle, like more than 10 seconds or so.

I've been looking at the A979-b. Do you know by any chance how many turns that 540 motor has?? You can get a brushed 540 motor for like 3.60 and an aluminum drive shaft for 4.00. I was thinking about getting the A979 and just changing out the parts. If it works, that's not bad for an upgrade for 7.60.

Ive got the a979 australia version identical looking but the 390 motor still broke the diff and now its a front wheel drive lol. Can you please tell me a959b has upgraded metal parts. 540 motor etc.can you send me a link for parts and batteries please? Awesome vid btw 😁 i had acopy of the brushless team associated truggy with 4500 kv 390 motor, upgraded to dynamite c4 9200 kv,30 amp esc with programmable software super fast but i want to put into a979 just to see how it goes! Tyres would balloon with 9.6 volt battery lol but couldn't afford lipo batteries. If you can send me some tips on the mods highly appreciated any thanks

@@dragan3290 youre welcome bro. i just found out about these little cars yesterday and found out that banggood.com has rc parts for damn near anything you can think of. the diy guy 999 does arduino mods which look complicated as hell but seem to work amazingly.

@@dirtybauer7022 the diy guy gave me the idea on how to fix the wl toys p929 that he has on one vid . He's a top bloke and he replied very quick to my question abut the diff repair . Works now as it was sitting in the garage for over a year. Cheers dude😊

The B has a 540 motor the regular one has a 390 motor. The B is faster
