Removing Algae & Dirt, To Bring The Cloth Back To Its Former Glory, Looking Like New.
The roof was looking a bit tired, with Green algae and mould, ground in dirt, hair, bird poo in the material, it was time to give it a good clean, which also meant it wold need a reseal.
The Auto Glym product seems to cover all bases, so on with the job.

Great Video. I use a soft brush to first agitate the dirt/dust out of the fibres, I then use a vacuum to remove the majority of the dirt & then go over the roof with a lint roller to pick up anything missed. It's suprising the amount of dust the lint rollers pick up!

Great video mate, i had a leaking roof, old merc, cheap, but spent loads on it, new gear oil everything, car runs great, Merc wanted 1000 pounds to sort the leaks out, tried this product, we went away for weekend, car in car park opposite the pub we stayed at in Brighton, during the night, thunder storms galore, we got up and thought...ho nooooo, wipe the car out, not a leak in sight, fantastic product, well worth the money

Good video bud, shame about the incorrect washing technique though and all them swirls created lol treat yourself to a proper wash mitt and stop dropping the sponge on the floor then back in the bucket and on the body of the car, not going to lie this video did make me cringe lol

after getting a 1 series myself, i put some renovo stuff onto the roof to make it black, but i think now i'll get some of this stuff to make the roof bead. thanks for the tutorial!

Use Auto Glynn twice a year on my Saab Aero convertible - by far easiest cleaner and proofer on market - used Renovo once ( roof dye I know ) goes everywhere ! did a good job 👍 keep it nice with autoglymn - 16 years old and still looks mint 👌 best wax by far is Colindale insulator wax absolutely superb finish - can use on wheels as well- correction Collinite insulator wax

Thanks for the review! I've found that the beading on this product is a little weak at the beginning. It's as if it takes a few days sitting in the sun for it to fully cure. After that, though, the water beads up like crazy!

Jess you should get autoglym tar remover. The chances are if its little speckles on your door are tar and contaminants that blows up from the road. Once you have done this use a clay bar and it will fix it. Look up both these products on youtube and you can see what I mean. Hope this helps

hello brother I have a Volkswagen Beetle Convertible 2014 Examination type Black tarpaulin, and with washing and time, some of the linoleum material was gone, and the examination became stained. It was not cleaned with washing, whether with water or soap. I asked and wrote to many modern car wash places. Nobody knows. Ordinary washing, and there are no special materials for the canvas of the cars, or the linoleum for the cars, knowing that the texture of the car is of the excellent, strong type, and it is not considered a fabric. aaanton11.... Great video as always. Nearly DIED twice.... Once when u mentioned putting a brush on the paintwork 😱😱😱😱😱😱 Then u dropped ya sponge en just dipped it in the bucket en carried on.... My heart nearly stopped 🤒🤒🤒🤒🤒 ITS THE OCD IN ME...... Fallout remover is what you need to get the particles etc off of your paintwork..... Av a good week fella. Stay safe. Alan L200

The brush is nice and soft 😂 too soft that's why bits get stuck in the cab roof, a sponge does do a better job, did you notice I did rotate the sponge before carrying on after dropping it😂, Fallout remover, I will look into it, Thanks Alan for the great information👍🏻👍🏻🛠

good video. i am a little surprised that they supply a sponge when most other products recommend a brush. cant help thinking the sponge will not dig out the grime as effectively

Just a tip wash your car leave wet and leave shampoo on then clean roof then rinse the roof cleaner does paintwork no favours the car shampoo will not allow the cleaner to get into the paint

Washing a car with a sponge. A massive no no. Use a mitt and two bucket wash method. Such a nice car.

Never use a jetwash on a canvas roof, always take the exstension of the hose then use it if that makes sense

The sponge is the worst thing to scratch paint and u even liffted off the gritty ground 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢 I binned about 50£ worth of top ot the range cloths and towels because they got gritt in them...not worth the swirls and scratches dude....

Sadly, this is a bad example of washing a nice car. A household sponge, one bucket containing crap shampoo, no grit guards, using the sponge to do bodywork and then the alloys. Moving the sponge down to the sills and then back up the paintwork... Won’t even mention dropping the sponge !! 🥴 The car will need to be taken to a detailer to repair the damage he has inflicted on the paint. 🥴🥴 There are better, more informative videos out there folks. Sorry mate.
