Join me on an unforgettable solo journey from Aachen, Germany to Milan, Italy! This journey took me across three high-speed trains, including two ICE trains, covering a total of 11 hours of travel. Along the way, I marveled at the beautiful views of a Swiss lake and an Italian lake, making the journey truly picturesque. In the end, I was delighted to stumble upon a vibrant festival at the Milan station. Although my wife couldn’t join me this time, she will be back next month for more exciting travels. For this trip, I used one travel day from my Interrail pass.

Cost: I traveled with an Interrail pass. For the two ICE trains, there were no reservation fees, and you can sit wherever there’s space. For the third high-speed train from Brig to Milan, I paid €15 for the reservation.
