To the people who are saying that this is a copy of Maaryan movie, the answer is NO. Aadujeevitham - The Goat Life is not a copy of Maaryan. Maaryan movie was inspired from a newspaper article about three Indian workers who got kidnapped in Sudan by mercenaries. Aadujeevitham is about an Indian who went to Saudi Arabia in 1992 for job and his fate changes when he arrives at Saudi Arabia airport. Both are entirely different incidents. *By the way, the copyright of Aadujeevitham was already bought by Blessy years before (Even before the commencement of Maariyan's shooting). Edit: Maariyan movie was inspired from a real life incident where three Indian men working in a company got kidnapped in Sudan. Aadujeevitham, the novel is based on the life of an Indian named Najeeb (A Keralite) who went to Saudi Arabia as a helper. But, Najeeb's life changes after he reached Saudi Arabia airport and he ends up as a slave in the desert without food, water and no income. He didn't get a single penny for whatever he did for his boss/kafeel/arbab. He lived as a slave for 3 years in the desert of Saudi Arabia. Thankfully, he is still alive and currently living in Kerala.
