Aaron is a class act and a role model for his generation. I’ve enjoyed watching him dominate during his college career and expect him to do the same on the world stage.

As an ex wrestler myself and understanding the hardwork and dedication it takes to even be half the athlete aaron is i respect this guy so much. So happy for him and proud of what he stands for. The success and all.his accomplisments he doesmt see as anything other than a blesing and Gods will. He is a living testimony to what fait is all.about and what you can do if you really follow abd believe in your faith. It takes a strong man and a true believer to stand up there and represent our lord and savior and not care about what cruticisms come. What an ispiration he is and what character he has. Anyone who thinks different or doesnt rrspect this man is a no good low life POS in my opinion. Keep preaching Aaron and keep contiuing to be who you are a true leader in the journey with christ. God bless you and may Gpd continue to guode you. Thank you for your efforts and being such an amazing human being and inspiration for all thoae who follow you.

Congrats to Aaron Brooks. Have enjoyed watching him wrestle for PSU these years. Very happy for him and so proud that he is a 4 timer. Also, congrats to Carter Starocci for being a 4 timer. Two PSU wrestlers in the same year becoming 4 time champs!!!

This kid is awesome but does anyone else feel like religion was everywhere at this tournament? Like more so than at any sporting event in recent history?

@shanehatfield9501 I noticed that right away. The only ones didn't say anything regarding to God or Jesus in his interview was Mitchell Mesenbrink and Greg Kerkvliet, Mes lost the championship to Carr too so that was weird they got him interviewed that quick. Still a bit mad about that ending btw, but it is what it is and that's just a loss for Mesenbrink to learn where his weaknesses lie in his wrestling and to improve and to get a lot better. Almost could've done the Cael Sanderson. IN fact, if he moves up to 174 (since 165 is stacked), he could end up winning 3 straight titles at that weight class and they could bring back Alec Facundo at 165. I hear that Facundo has been in the gym working hard this redshirt season. He should come back a hammer. Mesenbrink will come back stronger from that loss and they might look to bump him up to 174 if Carter decides to leave or go pro.

I’m not religious but I respect it. Allows them to wrestle more freely. I believe it takes some pressure off…get out there and give it your absolute best, and the rest is in God’s hands. The mental strength of all these wrestlers is insane. Props all around.

Nate Cobbler of the...whatever is definitely wrong. 20 years ago to the date I was in HS...and I'd already seen Cael win his 4th. Pretty sure Cael won his 4th in '02 and was in the '04 Olympics. I'd say it could have been 20 years to the date of his Oly Gold, but it's March 24th. Must have been 22 years to the date.
