I never get real emotional about celebrity deaths but this has hit me so hard! My sis passed from an OD a few years ago and she struggled for years to stay sober. I still cry for her daily as she was so beautiful, so bright, silly, her laugh was like no other and it was my favorite sound in the world. She'd have been 40 this year on the day my father passed away. I hear this man speak and I can hear him begging for understanding and acceptance from his family but just didn't know how to ask. It breaks my heart!!

@@stretchyfingers that is EXACTLY what I was thinking. You should NEVER HAVE to ask for acceptance from your own FAMILY. That should be freely and easily given as well as grace, and unconditional love, by your FAMILY. When I grew up we were taught you STICK by your family and you don't kick them when they are down. You forgive mistakes bc we all make them, no one is above imperfection. And you treat that bond as if it's sacred bc, well, it is.

It’s so hard to watch his younger videos. There was youth and light in his eyes. His skin radiated! But with time, he lost that light. Life is hard . Addiction is hard. Mental health is hard. With time we can see the effects all of that had on him. I pray God that he is in a better place and can rest in peace. I pray you cover his son and family and give them the strength to heal

How are you so sure? Women aren't rehabilitation facilities. Addiction isn't cured by love. Having a support system is one thing and being cured is another. You'll be surprised to see how many people with beautiful support systems ended up defeated by their addictions and how many people blame themselves for not being able to help their loved ones cope. What you said could be unfair to both sides.

@Psychadelic Potato Then what's the point of being in a relationship 🤔 . Having a spouse is there for you no matter what. Your problems is thier problems, thier problems is your problem. This kid peak in his teenage years, mom and dad split. Lost his way in adult hood. He was looking for the next big hit for Aaron. If his big brother would of just kept him by his side he might be alive today To be real, I forgot all about him since 2003. Idk why kids take Divorce so seriously. Run your life, your parents will still love u no matter what. As drugs goes, I been to rehab by force. Those ppl are out of control , I'm just a party user that gets it free from my friends. Just a hit . Thats the past. Young and dumb I don't hate Aaron, just disappointed he ended his life right after he had a child. Once he had a kid that should of turn his life around but that didn't happen. Hell with baby momma, Focus on the baby. That woman he was with, bad choice R.I.P Aaron Carter

@@DanielGarcia-zz9eg I get your point, ones surrounding does mould a person but Im afraid that you lack enough clinical experience to conclude that relationships are for curing someone. Relationships are support systems, not an absolute treatment. I've been in the mental health field and I've seen desperate wives giving all they've got; their energy, love, support and financial resources, just to see their spouses cross to the better side, and guess what? The ending isn't always positive. In some cases, it is better for both parties to stay away from each other. It's not an easy process and quite frankly it's no one's fault, even the support systems can end up in a very bad place. Even with immense support people fail to be clean, and that is why most addicts lie about their progress ; so that they don't end up disappointing the ones that are backing them up in this battle. Neither you nor I are wrong actually. It depends on who's involved and their experiences.
