Whilst the Force had 4 Wallabies players and put double the points on them. Not to mention the Highlanders have 2 All Blacks in their entire squad. Something else is going wrong there and its not the team sheets. A lot of wise words from Aaron Cruden, he's seen both styles of rugby, the percentage game we played 30 - 40yrs ago as well as the throw it around game that our modern players are more familiar with. It would be nice to see the two styles blended into our game. Rugby's a bit like fashion, nothings new, just old ideas pulled out and dusted off.

Good day, My 86 year old mother wanted crusaders tickets for her birthday. She lives in Gisborne and flew down with her daughters to watch the game tonight against the Rebels. Doreen (86 years old) grew up in Christchurch and moved to Gisborne in her 20s. The 55 years I have know her she has been a loyal and vocal supporter of any Canterbury team. She will be wearing her crusaders jersey and hat! They are sitting in AISLE21U seat 105 I’m not sure if you do shout outs or anything like that, but you would make her year if she got a mention somehow. Thanks Fitz Her son

Cruden was always one of my favourite players to watch and played during my favourite era of the ABs and of Super Rugby. Miss those days

100% Penney needs to go at the end of the season. There's a real negative attitude in the team, with lack of effort. That can be fixed from the top, it's what razor was so good at creating a positive team culture.

I expect a few debutants Abs squad this year 💯... on Proctor who is the form center & should make the squad same goes for Loosehead Prop Numia whos made huge strides this year hes an absolute weapon in the scrum & is the form Loosehead, Openside flankers Harmon or Lakai, Hb Ratima, & Reuben Love who's a very similar player to Dmac & can cover fb & 10 are my top 5 picks to make Abs

Really enjoyed Aaron Cruden's inciteful comments and input in the show. Bring him back. Rikki Swannell is always good to listen to whether it be commentating games or her knowledge of the women's game. Great show.

Nice to see Billy Proctor being incresingly mentioned. I'm Blues but I still can't see what Rieko brings as a centre except pace in open space, which there isn't a huge amount of when you step up to international level. His distribution game is average, he has a non-existent kicking game, and he seems to think he can beat everyone with an outside break, failing that he just clatters into people. Proctor is a proper centre, and when it comes to centre pairings then familiarity and combinations are key, and he has that with Jordie. Not that i think Jason Holland has any place in the ABs setup, but it should be remembered under Razors new selection system, he is in charge of selecting the midfield.

Hoping to see the likes of Numia, Leawere, Love and Proctor promoted to ABs not just ABXVs or Maori. They’ve been consistent week in week out and AB call up will be the least NZR can do for ‘em. I’m one of them that hopes Sanzar turns revamp the format they had now. 8/12 to make it to quarterfinal? Some team will just throw games away not worrying about losing a few as long as they got minimum point to be in top 8. League should just remain as league, and knockout competition can be done concurrently so 2 cup in 1 season should be enticing.

Tipping all NZ teams when this is the closest seaspn on record. Rebels, Chiefs, Hurricanes, Force, Blues out of the anzac match ups for me, and Drua to obliterate the Moana.

Question for the show: how can you give guys who have ABs caps (e.g. Fainganuku) or guys on the cusp (e.g. Fergus Burke and many more) to keep them eligible? Something has to give because a can of worms has been opened and it looks like we may never have the best squad eligible to be picked. Fainganuku is having a blinder for his French club and we may never see him in ABs colours again (but he would surely make an ABs squad)

Tevita Mafile'o already has a profile page in the 'current squad' for the All Blacks on their website, set to debut against England. I think this is a blunder on someone's behalf to leak that information, but I was a little bit surprised that they would even select him. I know Tevita has played in the XV and the U20s I think, but he wasn't on my debutant list. Maybe it's an error, but it could also be an accidental leak.

Regarding All Black selection: The bulk of the players should be from the Hurricanes,Blues and Chiefs. Very few players should be selected from the Crusaders and the Highlanders. Only Crusader player putting his hand up for selection is Sevu Reece.

Sorry, but Penney has got to go. He is not going to "find his stride" he is very obviously struggling and out of his depth. He just does not mesh with the Crusaders system and his messing with it has derailed the team.

This year I've heard a lot about how the aussie teams are improving, based on their win ratio vs nz teams compared to other years... my question is... is this the case? Are aussie teams improving? Or is the demise of the ABs and death of the AB aura finding its way to the super competition? Are the aussies improving or nzers worsening? I'm from chile so don't qualify for the player sports ball, but it would be nice to get an honorary ball😎

No sympathy for the Crusaders, fan base is the worst. The reality is, Razor didnt develop depth. Focus was on winning at all costs - fair enough, but now its a new reality.

Cruden forgets, yes, the CHIEFS were 0-8, but that CHIEFS team that was 0-8 were under WARREN, when he left the following season to focus on the BRITISH & IRISH LIONS, the CHIEFS went to the Finals under a Clayton McMillan. The CRUSADERS will not improve in 2025 as the issue is the Coach, For 8 years you all said the same thing when BLACKADDER had Coached the CRUSADERS, even when they made the Finals, you all said, their losses were close, but they'll turn that corner ... under BLACKADDER, that CRUSADERS team under him, never did turn that corner. In comes ROBERTSON, he has a majority of that same squad but he built the MO'UNGA's and the BARRETTS and the HAVILI's and they win 7 straight. CRUSADERS need to sack their Coach. Regardless, the responsibility of the Wins and Losses of them team, will ALWAYS come down to the Head Coach.

Crusaders can't win every game

Super Rugby is a ridiculous Competition. Leading the table and Winning the Competition means little. The table Competition is what should count and is competed for. The goal for most teams is 'we just have to make the top 8''. The top 8 in a 12 team competition lol. Some games become meaningless in terms of the competition. Most Teams are not that bothered losing games as long as they just make the top 8. If they want do a FA Cup knockout style competition with all 12 teams but make that separate from the competition. Similar to the EPL and the FA cup. For all teams winning the EPL is the end all and be all. The FA cup is secondary knockout comp like Super Rugby.
