I can totally see where the “Rodgers is a diva” narrative comes from. He’s an intelligent, thoughtful dude in a sport filled with meatheads both in the locker room and in the stands. People who can’t relate just get uncomfortable and dismiss him as “difficult”.

I would say that Rodgers and Roethlisberger have a decent rivalry, even though they haven't played enough because all the games have been close and mostly been shootouts, with Ben having the edge 2-1 but Rodgers winning the biggest game

You know what I wish we had... a sports show that dove into politics! I especially wish that there was some sports show that dove into the political persuasions of the athletes... I mean, if there's one thing that I know, it's that everything is better when doused in politics. Why watch anything if there isn't politics involved? Whenever I go to a family gathering, I immediately incite a political discussion so that I know who not to talk to anymore. My friends (and former friends), yeah... I vet them with politics, as well. I have to know the thoughts of those with whom I might hang out! How can I be friends with someone if I don't know for sure what they think about politics? And why should sports be any different? Yeah... I wish that there was just more politics in our world. In order for me to watch a sporting event, I need to know where each athlete stands on political issues. In fact, I think that the cake, itself, should be the politics and the sports is just the icing. I mean, sure Aaron Rodgers can throw a football and all, but really, deep down, don't we all want to know where he stands on anthem protests?

Love Rodgers, and in general support most of what he says (his journalism comments are spot on). But his "other things are dangerous too" and "if you want to stay home you can" takes are bad ones. What people forget about diseases is that they, unlike most other dangerous things, are contagious. Is the guy that goes to a bar in Green Bay because he wants to take that risk then going to isolate himself from his family, or from essential workers like those at stores? I doubt it. And then his kids go to School, or to a friends. We already saw this happen in Texas, Arizona, Florida, etc (the young healthy people got it and deaths didn't go up, but they spread it to those that were higher risk and we are back to the 1k+ deaths a day) and I don't want to see it happen in WI. The way to help the bar in Green Bay is to make the virus go away by following health guidelines. And yes those guidelines change and that's frustrating, but that's how the scientific process works. Go pack go!
